We are expecting our third child. We have [name]Alaina[/name] and [name]Liam[/name] so far.
We don’t have a name for our third (to be a girl)…the middle name for our third has to be [name]Jean[/name].
If [name]Laila[/name] were to be her first name, would it be too much use of ai/ia?

Personally I almost find it a bit hard to say [name]Alaina[/name] & [name]Laila[/name] together! I think some people would accidentally say Alaila and [name]Laina[/name]. Also, I think it’s just a bit too matchy. I like [name]Alaina[/name] and [name]Liam[/name] together, but I think it’s a bit much with [name]Laila[/name]. [name]Jean[/name], however, is a lovely middle name!
I agree… [name]Laila[/name] is a bit too similar and might trip people up when trying to say the names together.
What about [name]Isla[/name] (still get the I and A in there as with the other two)?

Personally I do find [name]Laila[/name] to be too much with [name]Alaina[/name] and [name]Liam[/name]. If I say three out loud it almost sounds like you took your favorite elements from the first two names and made a third.
