We are having our third child due mid march. We have a girl name [name]Charlie[/name] [name]Cate[/name] and a boy named [name]Will[/name] [name]Hayden[/name]. Our last name begins with a C and is two syllables. I would like to honor my grandparents who just passed away their names are [name]Rudy[/name] and [name]Mary[/name] [name]Rita[/name] (she went by [name]Rita[/name]). The only name we can both agree upon is [name]Claire[/name] [name]Ryan[/name] or Rylin. We also love the name [name]Alivia[/name] (Pronounced like [name]Olivia[/name], great grandmother’s maiden name)
My 18 month old is named [name]Claire[/name] [name]Alivia[/name]. We chose To change the spelling too and get tons of compliments on her name. So obviously I love [name]Olivia[/name] spelled [name]Alivia[/name].
I like [name]Claire[/name] [name]Ryan[/name] a lot. I’m not sure how that honors [name]Rudy[/name] or [name]Mary[/name] [name]Rita[/name] however. Rylin and [name]Alivia[/name] are not my style. Rylin sounds overly trendy and [name]Alivia[/name] seems an awfully girly name compared to your older daughter [name]Charlie[/name] - folks would think you had 2 boys and one girl (not that you may care!).
What about [name]Ryan[/name] [name]Alivia[/name]? A more unisex first name with a middle name that honors family
The name [name]Marty[/name] came to mind. It’s unisex and I think it fits with [name]Charlie[/name] and [name]Will[/name]. It’s kinda like [name]Mary[/name] & [name]Rudy[/name] together too. I think [name]Claire[/name] is a little close to [name]Charlie[/name] and I think it would be sweet to use another unisex name for DD #2.
[name]Ryan[/name] and Rylin are both good options too. [name]How[/name] about Rylin [name]Claire[/name]?
