THIRD girl on the way! Gonna need help with this one ladies!

Calling all my name experts! Help me. LOL! I’m SUPER excited to have our third girl on the way. However, it means I have to fall in love with another girls name and that is no easy task for me. I’m so darn picky. My daughters are: [name_f]Viviana[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Carina[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f]. I want to keep a floral middle name and I want a first name that stands up to [name_f]Viviana[/name_f] and [name_f]Carina[/name_f] which are such strong names. They are strong, but feminine, unique, but not unheard of or unpronounceable. Here’s where I’m getting stuck… My first two girls’ names meant something personal to me. This baby was such welcome news and is so loved already I want something that feels heaven sent or meant to be. Some of the names I like I don’t care for the meaning of. So many things to think about, it’s overwhelming! Thoughts on my short list and any additions would be so very appreciated! My head is swirling with the possibilities. Thank you for all your help!

[name_f]Celia[/name_f] - Means “heavenly” which I adore but does it stand up to the other names?

[name_f]Lilabet[/name_f] - I love but I worry hubby will hate or non name lovers in my family might raise some eyebrows. Nicknames that aren’t too tom-boyish? Not sure…

[name_f]Annalise[/name_f] - Too much “anna” or does it fit just right?

[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] - Another I don’t care for the meaning but love the name.

[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] - I want to love this name but it might be too clunky for me. Can’t think of a good nickname.

[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] - Growing on me. I like the feel, do you think it fits?

[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] - Does this one fit? Also very pretty but not as strong in meaning perhaps.

[name_f]Nadine[/name_f] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] the meaning, but does it go with sibset?

[name_f]Susannah[/name_f]/[name_f]Zuzu[/name_f] - Can’t decide how I feel about this one either.

A couple of other suggestions:

I think they fit your criteria and fit with [name_f]Viviana[/name_f] and [name_f]Carina[/name_f].

[name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] - similar names: [name_f]Emilie[/name_f], [name_f]Emmaline[/name_f], [name_f]Ameline[/name_f]…

[name_f]Lilabet[/name_f] - I think it’ll probably be received better than you think, nicknames… [name_f]Lila[/name_f], [name_f]Lili[/name_f], [name_f]Libby[/name_f] or [name_f]Betty[/name_f].

[name_f]Annalise[/name_f] - I do think it is a little close to [name_f]Viviana[/name_f]

[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] - the nicknames I have for [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] are [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], Lady, [name_f]Ella[/name_f] and [name_f]Addy[/name_f]. [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] might feel less clunky and meets with [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] half way.

[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] - I don’t think it’s strong enough to match the others BUT nn [name_u]Rory[/name_u] does work spectacularly with the sibset.

@kizzy_delgado love the idea of [name_f]Elle[/name_f] for [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] and [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] in place of [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] does check off a lot of boxes, thank you for the great ideas!

What about [name_f]Arabelle[/name_f] nn belle? I think this sounds lovely with the other two. You could use [name_f]Violet[/name_f] or [name_f]Viola[/name_f] as a middle name. I think that [name_f]Arabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Viola[/name_f], or even [name_f]Viola[/name_f] [name_f]Arabelle[/name_f] if you’re willing to flip it sounds lovely:)

I like [name_f]Evie[/name_f] nn for [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] more than the full name. Is it a bit too similar to [name_f]Viviana[/name_f] - does she get called [name_f]Vivi[/name_f]?
Amahlia rather than [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]? I do like [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] though, and think it goes fine.
I like [name_f]Celia[/name_f] very much, but has softer sounds than your other girls, so not an ideal fit.
[name_f]Lilabet[/name_f] - I think this goes very well and is an appealing choice. [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t worry about what family thinks - and don’t announce the name before she’s born!
[name_f]Annalise[/name_f] - I prefer the [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] spelling. This is lovely and fits very well.
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] - love this. Fits well as long as not an issue with sharing some nn possiblities with [name_f]Viviana[/name_f]. What’s wrong with the meaning? Some have it as ‘white wave’,or ‘tribe woman’, and St [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] is an inspiring namesake.
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], love this and love [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] nn.
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f], fits perfectly. Personally I find it hard to say and don’t love it, though a great match with siblings.
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] - love this and great with sisters.
[name_f]Nadine[/name_f] - more unusual and interesting choice but doesn’t feel right with the sisters.
[name_f]Susannah[/name_f] - love this and works fine with siblings.

@araminty - Thank you for all your input, it’s just what I need to sort through! [name_f]Viviana[/name_f] does go by [name_f]Vivi[/name_f] often so that was my only hesitation with [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] but it fits so well otherwise I’m trying to find a way to make it work. I agree not to announce till baby is born, my family is so opinionated, I’d have no names left. LOL!! I do come back to [name_f]Lilabet[/name_f], it’s fun and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is a family name so it’s a nod to that. [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] I love just was hoping for a name whose meaning fit the child or the situation more. My own personal hang up, the name is lovely! From your list I really love [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] with [name_f]Viviana[/name_f] and [name_f]Carina[/name_f].

I love [name_f]Nadine[/name_f] too, and while it may not be an obvious choice with your sibset, I think it could give some special distinction to your youngest and definitely sounds great alongside sister’s names.

Your daughters have such lovely names! My oldest is [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], so I’m partial to that name off your list. A couple other suggestions:
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f]/[name_f]Josephina[/name_f]- “The [name_m]Lord[/name_m] increases”; a great meaning for a beloved third child; lots of cute nickname options.
[name_f]Celeste[/name_f]/[name_f]Celestine[/name_f]/[name_f]Celestina[/name_f]- A great meaning, unique sound, and a pleasant addition to your sib set.

I love your girls names! My favorite pick is [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], but I think you’re right about the nicknames being too close. I like [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] next best, I think it’s an underrated classic. I think [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] and [name_f]Celia[/name_f] both fit well, though [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] isn’t a preference of mine. [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] flows very nicely. Really, I think whatever you end up with will be beautiful.

You could spell [name_f]Annalise[/name_f] with an e instead - [name_f]Annelise[/name_f] - to get rid of the [name_f]Anna[/name_f] part.

On reading your thoughts, I automatically thought of [name_f]Celia[/name_f]… but I agree that it is a bit short and less punchy compared to your other girls names.

I love [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f], [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], and Lillibet! All gorgeous! And I think they’d all sit beside your other girls names well.

My first thought when I heard the meaning you are seeking was [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]. [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] or [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] or [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] would work nicely with the sisters’ names. I think of [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] as a strong name associated with happiness. An alternate form would be [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]. Nicknames could be [name_f]Bea[/name_f], [name_f]Bee[/name_f], [name_f]Bet[/name_f], [name_f]Betsy[/name_f], [name_u]Tris[/name_u], [name_f]Trixie[/name_f], etc.

I like all of your choices but to my ear, [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] fits the best with the sister names.
