We just found out baby #3 is another girl Our first two are [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] and [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]. (pronounced [name_f]Emma[/name_f]-lynn)
I have some names prepared for feedback, and I love getting suggestions. The middle name will likely be [name_f]Jane[/name_f], but that is not set in stone.
Iâve gotta say- I went into the hospital for #2 with a name list of 42 names and we ended up picking one that wasnât even on the list. I just love so many names, and I canât name the baby before I see her, so I always end up with tons of possibilities! I am hoping to get something I havenât heard before.
What lovely names your two daughters have! At first glance, I think that I like [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] the best with your sibset. I went for those names because to me they have the same length/syllables and have the same âfeelâ to me - theyâre classic, feminine and fairly uncommon but not totally unheard of. [name_m]Just[/name_m] personally, on these criteria Iâd rule out [name_f]Zara[/name_f] as too short and too âmodernâ sounding with this combination, and [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] as too common compared to [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] and [name_f]Emmaline[/name_f] (at least in Australia [name_f]Madeline[/name_f]-â[name_f]Maddie[/name_f]â is one of the most common girlsâ names around) - not that these two arenât nice names!
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] - I think this would be a great fit with your sibset, it has a spunky, old-fashioned feel. [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is sweet as well.
[name_f]Annelise[/name_f] - Iâve always found [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] and [name_f]Annelise[/name_f] very similar, plus youâve got much more special names on this list.
[name_f]Athena[/name_f] - I like the name [name_f]Athena[/name_f], but I donât think it fits in with [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] and [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] as well as some of the others on here. [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]/[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] - I adore both of these. [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] sounds better with [name_f]Jane[/name_f], imo.
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] - Pretty, but Iâve never gotten past that [name_m]Black[/name_m] [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] association. Might I suggest [name_f]Thalia[/name_f]? [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] - Oh, how Iâve grown to love this one. And [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is positively lovely.
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] - I like this one a lot as well, but Iâm not feeling it with [name_f]Jane[/name_f] as a middle name.
[name_f]Lilia[/name_f] - Doesnât fit with [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] and [name_f]Felicity[/name_f], to me.
[name_f]Luna[/name_f] - I like this one a lot, but it feels a bit insufficient next to [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] and [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]. Iâd love this for a middle name, however, [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f] is gorgeous.
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f] - Meh.
[name_f]Madeline[/name_f] - Also meh. [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] - Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous.
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] - This is pretty too.
[name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] - I love this name, but I donât think it goes with the sibset.
[name_f]Zara[/name_f] - Makes me think of the clothing store.
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] - I love this name but I wouldnât use it with [name_f]Jane[/name_f]
[name_f]Lilia[/name_f] - this is an all time favourite of mine. [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] works really well too
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f] - love this name and [name_f]Jane[/name_f] works with it too
[name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] - beautiful, classy name. [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is my favourite of them all.
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] â Since I know you, you already know my thoughts on this one. I do like it, but [name_f]Addy[/name_f] - even if you donât do it, it is likely to happen. My mother hates that I am called [name_f]Holly[/name_f], lol.
[name_f]Annelise[/name_f] â I like this one a lot. [name_f]Annelise[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is a bit odd sounding to me, though.
[name_f]Athena[/name_f] â A little out of place with your other girls.
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]/[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] â I still love this one a lot, and it has been on all of your lists since before [name_f]Emme[/name_f]. I would probably stay away from [name_f]Jane[/name_f] in the middle because of the initials BJ. [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]? [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Mary[/name_f]? [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f]?
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] â I donât dislike this name, but it is tainted for me by the weird character in Subergatory, lol. But you donât watch that, so I understand you have no notions from it. Still, not sure it works. [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is pretty, though.
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] â Like, but donât love. It just doesnât wow me along with [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] and [name_f]Felicity[/name_f].
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] â On my list as well, a great classic. Defeinitely canât use [name_f]Jane[/name_f] with this though⌠unless you want to call her JJ, cause that would be pretty cute.
[name_f]Lilia[/name_f] â Meh. Pretty, but, again, no wow.
[name_f]Luna[/name_f] â I adore [name_f]Luna[/name_f] and will probably never use it, so I would be thrilled if you did
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f] â [name_f]One[/name_f] of my favorites on your list. Another I love but likely wonât ever use so would love to have a little niece with the name!
[name_f]Madeline[/name_f] â I really donât dislike this, but I think [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] and [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] are too close even though you pronounce the endings differently.
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] â Like but not as much asâŚ
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] â [name_f]LOVE[/name_f]. And you know my reasons. And I adore [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f].
[name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] â I like this one a lot as well.
[name_f]Zara[/name_f] â Okay. Another one that doesnât have the âwowâ. Also, a little trendy compared to [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] and [name_f]Felicity[/name_f].
