We had really settled on [name_f]Rose[/name_f] as our baby girls third middlename, but the more I think about it the more I find her name a tad… boring! So I want to spruce it up a bit. My name taste is very different from my partners and I think its time my name taste is a bit more reflected in our children’s names.
My partner is OK with me changing it, since he got to pick first name and second name is after his grandmother. So, can you give me some opinions on these names:
[name_f]Marguerita[/name_f] is after her grandmother - there’s no arguing about that one. Its not my favourite either, but it means a lot to her dad =)
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Marguerita[/name_f] [name_f]Snow[/name_f] is my favorite too. Following a 4 syllable name, I think the 2nd middle needs to be fairly short (1-2 syllables). The others are a bit confusing, visually.
Instead of [name_f]Snow[/name_f], how about [name_f]Eira[/name_f]? (welsh for snow)
I like [name_f]Snow[/name_f] the best of these too. The suggestion of [name_f]Eira[/name_f] is great - more in the style of your first two, but easier to pronounce.
It needs to sound nice when its said with [name_f]Alice[/name_f] too. We use our childrens names in the day to day (mostly when we call them out in public or when they are being told off, lol) - but also in school. If there’s more than 1 child with their first name we use middlename instead of surname.
We don’t want to use [name_f]Marguerita[/name_f] for this and are thinking about plunking [name_f]Marguerita[/name_f] as the third name. Its a name put there to honor my OHs grandmother and not one we’ve chosen because we like it. We are talking about doing
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] xxxxxx [name_f]Rita[/name_f] too - as she was called [name_f]Rita[/name_f].
