This little Passion make 12!

I just discovered this family and was wondering what all you Berries thought of the children’s names.

There is a lady in Australia, named Brinessa [name]Martin[/name], who has 12 children. He first 3 are named [name]Samantha[/name] [name]Jayne[/name], [name]Shantelle[/name] [name]Victoria[/name] and [name]Stephanie[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]. Then came [name]Shania[/name] [name]Kay[/name], Jenaya [name]Lee[/name], [name]Brandon[/name] [name]Bradley[/name], [name]Brandi[/name] [name]Shyla[/name] [name]Molly[/name] [name]Robyn[/name], [name]Indigo[/name] Raindrop [name]Sapphire[/name], [name]Cruz[/name] [name]Richard[/name], and [name]Clayton[/name] [name]Adam[/name] [name]Logan[/name]. Her last 2 children are called Diammond Sparckle Zedekeyah [name]Lilly[/name] [name]Ann[/name] and Passion Brinessa Ajayla Quinatee. She said she devised the younger girls’ names using verses of poetry, an iPhone name-generating app, and a love of adding letters. I am not making this up, feel free to do some research on the family!

Two other names I have seen in the past week are Aivah ([name]Ava[/name]) and Jayhne ([name]Jane[/name])!

[name]Feel[/name] free to add any other interesting names you have heard or seen!

[name]Samantha[/name] [name]Jayne[/name], [name]Stephanie[/name] [name]Catherine[/name], [name]Cruz[/name] [name]Richard[/name], and [name]Clayton[/name] [name]Adam[/name] [name]Logan[/name] are okay. [name]Shantelle[/name] [name]Victoria[/name], [name]Brandon[/name] [name]Bradley[/name], and [name]Shania[/name] [name]Kay[/name] are tolerable. The others are horrendous. It looks like she devised the last two girls’ names under the influence.

Yikes. Passion is a little too visual…

I dont mind [name]Cruz[/name] or [name]Indigo[/name]. I wouldnt personally use them in real life, especially [name]Indigo[/name]. Its def a GP for me. [name]Clayton[/name] isnt bad either.

As for the rest…well they are either dated or made up.

As for interesting spellings I met brothers named [name]Konner[/name] and Khuyler the other day. And I also know brothers Gonnar(prn like [name]Gunner[/name]) and [name]Connar[/name]. cringe

It’s like she smoked weed a little bit more with each child. They just progressively get worse.

The first 3 are great classics. [name]Brandon[/name] [name]Bradley[/name] is okay but I’m not a fan of alliteration in names. The rest except [name]Cruz[/name] and [name]Clayton[/name] are way too over the top for me. I do like [name]Indigo[/name] and [name]Sapphire[/name] but definitely not in the same name.

Oh my [name]Lord[/name], talk about a mix of good and bad.

Diammond Sparckle and Passion are particularly bad.

That is just strange and a bit sad, [name]IMO[/name]… the first ones have nice, classic names (even though, NMS, still very tolerable)… the last ones… well, it’s almost like she just gave up and was like “whatever” …hmmm… I have found with each one (I am expecting #11) I put more pressure on myself in getting the name right… it’s like she just threw the responsibility to the wind…

#Straya >.>

If I saw Gonnar, I’d be tempted to pronounce it “goner”, as in, “He’s a goner.” Yikes.

I agree with others that some of the woman’s early names are fine, but Diammond and Passion are just awful. I’d hate to be a girl in junior high with a name like that.

It’s not nearly as bad, but I learned last week of a friend of a friend that named her son Athan, kind of like [name]Nathan[/name] and [name]Ethan[/name] combined. Sigh…

I have a friend who named her son Athan, but as a shortened form of Athanasius like the saint.

I agree with everyone else, that mom got progressively loonier with each name choice.
