[name_m]Hi[/name_m] Berries, I’m sure I’m not the only one who has very similar names on their long list. I’d appreciate your help narrowing these 8 to 4, our surname is [name_u]James[/name_u] and [name_m]William[/name_m] is more than likely to be the middle.
[name_f]Indigo[/name_f] or [name_m]Inigo[/name_m]?
[name_m]Malachi[/name_m] or [name_m]Malachy[/name_m]?
[name_m]Caspian[/name_m] or [name_m]Caspar[/name_m]?
[name_m]Orlando[/name_m] or [name_u]Orion[/name_u]?
[name_m]Don[/name_m]'t really like either of the first choices, but I’d probably pick [name_f]Indigo[/name_f].
[name_m]Malachi[/name_m]
[name_m]Caspar[/name_m]
[name_m]Both[/name_m] here are pretty cool… I’d have to say [name_m]Orlando[/name_m] by just a teensy bit.
[name_m]Inigo[/name_m] - [name_m]Inigo[/name_m] is a name whereas [name_f]Indigo[/name_f] is a colour and book store chain where I live.
[name_m]Malachi[/name_m] - I usually prefer “kai” to “kee” and this is no exception.
[name_m]Caspar[/name_m] - I prefer [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] as a name but [name_m]Caspar[/name_m] sounds better with [name_m]William[/name_m].
[name_m]Orlando[/name_m] - this was the toughest one! I think [name_m]Orlando[/name_m] sounds great with your surname.
[name_f]Indigo[/name_f] or [name_m]Inigo[/name_m]? [name_f]Indigo[/name_f]
[name_m]Malachi[/name_m] or [name_m]Malachy[/name_m]? [name_m]Malachi[/name_m]
[name_m]Caspian[/name_m] or [name_m]Caspar[/name_m]? [name_m]Caspian[/name_m]
[name_m]Orlando[/name_m] or [name_u]Orion[/name_u]? [name_u]Orion[/name_u]
My personal favorites are [name_u]Orion[/name_u] and [name_m]Caspian[/name_m]. I would use them as middle names.
[name_f]Indigo[/name_f] ([name_f]LOVE[/name_f]!!!)
[name_m]Malachi[/name_m]
[name_m]Caspian[/name_m] ([name_f]LOVE[/name_f]!!!)
[name_u]Orion[/name_u]
3/4 are on my list
[name_f]Indigo[/name_f] (although it feels more feminine than masculine)
[name_m]Malachi[/name_m]
[name_m]Caspian[/name_m]
[name_u]Orion[/name_u] ([name_m]Orlando[/name_m] is nice too)
[name_f]Indigo[/name_f] - love this!
[name_m]Malachi[/name_m]
[name_m]Caspian[/name_m] - absolutely adore both but just can’t go past [name_f]Narnia[/name_f]!
[name_m]Orlando[/name_m]
[name_m]Inigo[/name_m]? I prefer the look of [name_f]Indigo[/name_f], but the sound of [name_m]Inigo[/name_m]. [name_f]Indigo[/name_f]'s always seemed rather feminine to me, but [name_m]Inigo[/name_m] seems pretty tied to [name_m]Inigo[/name_m] Montoya. I do think I prefer [name_m]Inigo[/name_m], though…
[name_m]Malachi[/name_m]. I’ve never really liked the sound of [name_m]Malachy[/name_m].
[name_m]Caspian[/name_m]. I was really, really torn, because I adore both, but [name_m]Caspian[/name_m]'s the one that’s on my own list, so that had to get my vote. I do adore [name_m]Caspar[/name_m], though, and am always trying to find a spot for it on my list.
[name_u]Orion[/name_u]. [name_m]Orlando[/name_m]'s always reminded me of Disney World too much, haha.
[name_f]Indigo[/name_f]
[name_m]Malachi[/name_m] - I love [name_m]Malachi[/name_m] (and I know its not but I always end up seeing/saying [name_m]Malachy[/name_m] as malarkey)
[name_m]Caspar[/name_m] - [name_f]Love[/name_f] it! I like [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] but not with [name_m]William[/name_m]
[name_u]Orion[/name_u]
[name_f]Indigo[/name_f] or [name_m]Inigo[/name_m]? I love the look of [name_f]Indigo[/name_f], but I think [name_m]Inigo[/name_m] is better for a boy/man’s name.
[name_m]Malachi[/name_m] or [name_m]Malachy[/name_m]? [name_m]Malachy[/name_m]. I just prefer it. Sounds softer and spunkier to me. Unless of course you want the nickname [name_u]Kai[/name_u] ([name_f]Chi[/name_f]?).
[name_m]Caspian[/name_m] or [name_m]Caspar[/name_m]? [name_m]Caspar[/name_m]–I like both with last name but [name_m]Caspar[/name_m] sounds better with [name_m]William[/name_m].
[name_m]Orlando[/name_m] or [name_u]Orion[/name_u]? [name_m]Orlando[/name_m]; [name_m]Orlando[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] sound much better.
[name_m]Inigo[/name_m] - I’m not very fond of either, but if I had to pick
[name_m]Malachi[/name_m] - spell it right
[name_m]Caspian[/name_m] - less ghostly
[name_u]Orion[/name_u] - fewer association and just cool!
[name_f]Kala[/name_f], [name_m]Malachy[/name_m] and [name_m]Malachi[/name_m] are different names. They have their own history of usage and pronunciations.
[name_m]Malachi[/name_m] = mal-ah-kai
[name_m]Malachy[/name_m] = mal-ah-kee – My preferred version because of the author [name_m]Malachy[/name_m] McCourt, brother to [name_m]Frank[/name_m] who wrote [name_f]Angela[/name_f]'s Ashes. And it’s so spunky
