This or that?

[name_f]Clea[/name_f] or [name_f]Cosima[/name_f]?
[name_f]Edie[/name_f] or [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f]?
[name_f]Eleri[/name_f] or [name_u]Everly[/name_u]?
[name_f]Maren[/name_f] or [name_f]Marina[/name_f]?

P.S: Would any of your answers differ if she had a brother named [name_m]Harlan[/name_m]?

[name_f]Cosima[/name_f] (but I’m not too crazy about either of these two choices…sorry)
[name_f]Edie[/name_f]
[name_u]Everly[/name_u] (my soon-to-be niece’s middle name)
[name_f]Maren[/name_f]

Hugs,
[name_f]Cathy[/name_f]

[name_f]Clea[/name_f]
[name_f]Eulalie[/name_f] (I have loved this name ever since I saw The [name_f]Music[/name_f] [name_m]Man[/name_m])
[name_u]Everly[/name_u]
[name_f]Maren[/name_f]

My choices would be the same for a sister to [name_m]Harlan[/name_m]. To me, [name_m]Harlan[/name_m] has a vintage, country vibe that is so charming. Other sister names for [name_m]Harlan[/name_m]:

[name_f]Hazel[/name_f]
[name_f]Willow[/name_f]
[name_f]Agnes[/name_f]
[name_f]Iris[/name_f]
[name_f]Winnie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f]Martha[/name_f]
[name_f]Esther[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]

[name_f]Clea[/name_f]
[name_f]Edie[/name_f]
[name_u]Everly[/name_u]
[name_f]Maren[/name_f] although [name_f]Marina[/name_f] would work with. [name_m]Harlan[/name_m] as well. All of the names I like work with [name_m]Harlan[/name_m]. (In my opinion)

[name_f]Clea[/name_f]
[name_f]Edie[/name_f]
[name_u]Everly[/name_u]
[name_f]Maren[/name_f]

I love [name_u]Everly[/name_u]

[name_f]Cosima[/name_f]–love
[name_f]Eulalie[/name_f]–love!
[name_u]Eden[/name_u]
[name_f]Marina[/name_f]–also love.

[name_f]Cosima[/name_f], [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f], and [name_f]Marina[/name_f] are all names I’d seriously consider myself. My only hesitation with [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f] is that double-L names are in such heavy use now.

[name_f]Clea[/name_f] or [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] - love them both, but I choose [name_f]Cosima[/name_f]
[name_f]Edie[/name_f] or [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f] - dislike them both, but I choose [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Eleri[/name_f] or [name_u]Everly[/name_u] - like them both, but choose [name_u]Everly[/name_u]
[name_f]Maren[/name_f] or [name_f]Marina[/name_f] - [name_f]Marina[/name_f], but [name_f]Maren[/name_f] is pretty solid choice

No.

[name_u]Everly[/name_u]! [name_u]Everly[/name_u]! [name_u]Everly[/name_u]!

[name_f]Cosima[/name_f], [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Marina[/name_f] all the way! My favorite of the three though is [name_f]Cosima[/name_f]. [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f] has too many “L” sounds, just like [name_m]Harlan[/name_m], so when you call both of them “[name_m]Harlan[/name_m]! [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f]!” or “[name_m]Harlan[/name_m] and [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f]!” you might get your tongue in a twist. If this does not bother you, than go for it.

[name_f]Cosima[/name_f] is a lovely name and very unique, like [name_m]Harlan[/name_m]. I’d totally go for it.

[name_f]Marina[/name_f] on the other hand has a sweet spot for me as a Brazilian. It’s the name of several iconic Brazilian songs, the most famous being the one composed by Dorival Caymmi, maybe you could look it up on youtube? I wouldn’t use it for a child of mine however, because here it’s so, so common… As common as [name_f]Alison[/name_f] in the US.

[name_f]Clea[/name_f] or [name_f]Cosima[/name_f]? [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] is beautiful, don’t care for the sound of [name_f]Clea[/name_f]. (love [name_f]Clio[/name_f] though!)
[name_f]Edie[/name_f] or [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f]? [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f] is pretty, [name_f]Edie[/name_f] is just more my style, and I prefer [name_f]Edie[/name_f] with [name_m]Harlan[/name_m].
[name_f]Eleri[/name_f] or [name_u]Everly[/name_u]? I’m intrigued by [name_f]Eleri[/name_f]. I think either could work, but I think [name_u]Everly[/name_u] is cute with [name_m]Harlan[/name_m].
[name_f]Maren[/name_f] or [name_f]Marina[/name_f]? I prefer [name_f]Maren[/name_f], but [name_f]Marina[/name_f] is probably better with [name_m]Harlan[/name_m].

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_m]Harlan[/name_m] [name_m]Rafferty[/name_m], btw! and [name_m]Soren[/name_m] [name_m]Felix[/name_m].

[name_f]Clea[/name_f]
[name_f]Eulalie[/name_f]
[name_u]Everly[/name_u]
[name_f]Marina[/name_f] (I love [name_f]Maren[/name_f] too but [name_f]Marina[/name_f] works better with [name_m]Harlan[/name_m])

[name_f]Clea[/name_f]
[name_f]Eulalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Eleri[/name_f]
[name_f]Maren[/name_f]

[name_f]Clea[/name_f]
[name_f]Edie[/name_f] (cute!)
[name_u]Everly[/name_u]
[name_f]Marina[/name_f]

[name_f]Clea[/name_f] or [name_f]Cosima[/name_f]? [name_f]Cosima[/name_f]
[name_f]Edie[/name_f] or [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f]? [name_f]Edie[/name_f]
[name_f]Eleri[/name_f] or [name_u]Everly[/name_u]? [name_u]Everly[/name_u]
[name_f]Maren[/name_f] or [name_f]Marina[/name_f]? [name_f]Marina[/name_f]

And no, I stick by my choices. They all sound good with [name_m]Harlan[/name_m], though my preference would be [name_u]Everly[/name_u] or [name_f]Marina[/name_f]. I’m just not a fan of [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] and [name_f]Edie[/name_f] is too nicknamey for a first name for me.

[name_f]Clea[/name_f]
[name_f]Eulalie[/name_f]
[name_u]Everly[/name_u]
[name_f]Marina[/name_f]

[name_f]Cosima[/name_f] or [name_f]Clea[/name_f]: [name_f]Cosima[/name_f], although I like [name_f]Clea[/name_f], too. With brother [name_m]Harlan[/name_m], it would still be [name_f]Cosima[/name_f], as both names give me a lovely creative/artistic vibe.

[name_f]Edie[/name_f] or [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f]: [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f], by a mile. I think [name_f]Edie[/name_f] goes better with [name_m]Harlan[/name_m], though.

[name_f]Eleri[/name_f] or [name_u]Everly[/name_u]: [name_f]Eleri[/name_f] feels more unusual, [name_u]Everly[/name_u] feels trendy, but I like both. I think I would choose [name_f]Eleri[/name_f] (pronounced Eh-[name_m]LAY[/name_m]-ree), but I prefer [name_u]Everly[/name_u] with [name_m]Harlan[/name_m].

[name_f]Maren[/name_f] or [name_f]Marina[/name_f]: I much prefer [name_f]Maren[/name_f]. Not fond of either name with [name_m]Harlan[/name_m], though.

[name_f]Clea[/name_f]
[name_f]Eulalie[/name_f]
[name_u]Everly[/name_u]
[name_f]Marina[/name_f]

Thanks for choosing, everyone!

@sillysheila: Thanks for the suggestions! I like [name_f]Willow[/name_f], [name_f]Agnes[/name_f], [name_f]Winnie[/name_f], [name_f]Martha[/name_f], and kinda [name_f]Violet[/name_f], but more as a middle name due to popularity. I’ve played around with [name_f]Willow[/name_f] as a middle name, or [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] / some name that shortens to that nn but in the end I tend to decide they don’t sound too hot with my last name.

@beasobreira: The song was very beautiful to listen to, thanks for bringing it to my attention

@emsky: Thank you for the detail to your answers and glad you like [name_m]Harlan[/name_m] + [name_m]Soren[/name_m].

You’re welcome! I’m always happy to share a little bit of my culture and my country… Despite losing 7x1, [name_u]Brazil[/name_u] wins by 100 when it comes to music and dance. I’m glad you enjoyed “[name_f]Marina[/name_f]”, it’s a lovely old love ballad.

[name_u]Brazil[/name_u] is definitely on my places I want to travel to list, it seems like such a vibrant country. The World Cup was a bit tragic, but the song yes, is very beautiful for sure!
