I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_m]Leif[/name_m]! Gorgeous name. [name_f]Imo[/name_f] ou can still use [name_m]Cale[/name_m] as a nn for [name_m]Callum[/name_m].
I love [name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_m]Leif[/name_m]; they go well together because they share similar places-of-origin and I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_m]Callum[/name_m]'s meaning (peace!).
[name_m]Caleb[/name_m] [name_m]Leif[/name_m] doesn’t flow as well and, to me, doesn’t have the same special quality of being a cohesive name.
Generally I prefer the name [name_m]Callum[/name_m], but I think [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] [name_m]Leif[/name_m] is the better combo. I like the feel and flow of it better. [name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_m]Leif[/name_m] feels a little flat, while [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] [name_m]Leif[/name_m] feels alive and exciting. I think [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] and [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] are adorable together.
For those of you who voted for [name_m]Caleb[/name_m], do you feel that it is a really common name? I come from a [name_m]Christian[/name_m] community, so I feel like it may be one of those names that gets lost amidst a sea of Biblical boys’ names. Would [name_m]Callum[/name_m] be a more unique, better choice?
I don’t know if it would get lost, but I much prefer [name_m]Caleb[/name_m]. [name_m]Callum[/name_m] has been thoroughly overused where I live and I’ve never personally met a nice [name_m]Callum[/name_m]. Not saying they don’t exist, but that’s my personal association with the name. [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] [name_m]Leif[/name_m] is more dynamic and has a better flow [name_f]IMO[/name_f].
I love [name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_m]Leif[/name_m]! Another pro in my mind, its meaning is a symbol of peace.
Both [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] and [name_m]Callum[/name_m] are cute with [name_f]Brynn[/name_f], but I like the double letters and also the double nature associations in both [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] [name_u]Aspen[/name_u] and [name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_m]Leif[/name_m].
That said, if the nickname is going to be problematic, maybe [name_m]Callum[/name_m] is not the best choice. I think you’d need to come up with a solution, otherwise [name_m]Callum[/name_m] will inevitably be shortened to [name_u]Cal[/name_u]. Maybe a nickname based on his initials? Or [name_u]Cam[/name_u]?
It’s funny how the area where you live can affect your opinion of a name so much. I’ve only ever met one [name_m]Callum[/name_m], but plenty of [name_m]Caleb[/name_m]! It’s just not as popular here in [name_f]Canada[/name_f]!
[name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_m]Leif[/name_m]! You must be pronouncing it kal-uhm; if it were kuhl-uhm {like [name_m]Colum[/name_m]} the nickname [name_m]Cully[/name_m] could work.
[name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_m]Leif[/name_m] is handsome.
