You have quite a few beautiful names to choose from there! It was a tough decision, but after lots of thought I ended up going with [name_f]Clara[/name_f]. I believe that it goes perfectly with her brother’s names, and that the name itself if just so lovely. A close second would be [name_f]Florence[/name_f], which goes almost just as well with [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] and [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m], plus it has lots of potential for nicknames. [name_f]Sybil[/name_f] is lovely as well, and I would absolutely love to meet a little [name_f]Sybil[/name_f], I just prefer [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Florence[/name_f]. Finally, [name_f]Ruthie[/name_f], while being absolutely adorable, doesn’t seem to fit stylistically with [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] and [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m], which are longer, more formal names, while [name_f]Ruthie[/name_f] is shorter and more like a nickname. All three names have a sort of vintage feel to them though, so if you absolutely love [name_f]Ruthie[/name_f] the most, that could be used to tie them all together.
[name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] and [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] were giving me major Downton [name_u]Abbey[/name_u] vibes, so maybe that’s why I went with [name_f]Sybil[/name_f]. They’re all lovely names, though I do think [name_f]Ruthie[/name_f] has a slightly different vibe than the boys’ names.
Tbh, I dislike [name_f]Ruthie[/name_f] and [name_f]Sybil[/name_f]. [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Florence[/name_f] were very close favorites, both are lovely and go well with [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] and [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m]. I chose [name_f]Florence[/name_f] in the end because it looks longer, more like her siblings, and it has a cool, short, one syllable nickname like theirs: [name_m]Ed[/name_m], [name_u]Max[/name_u] & [name_f]Flo[/name_f]. The variety of nickname options is huge if you don’t like that though, and it feels classic and refined.
I really like [name_f]Sybil[/name_f] and [name_f]Florence[/name_f] with your other kids names. They’re very elegant sounding, and give off a vintage vibe that [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] and [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] have.
I love [name_f]Sybil[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f], and [name_f]Florence[/name_f]. [name_f]Sybil[/name_f] is my favourite, but I went with [name_f]Clara[/name_f] to avoid the repeated -l ending with [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m]. I just liked how [name_f]Clara[/name_f] sounded with [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] in particular as well.
[name_f]Clara[/name_f], it make such a lovely tinkling sound to my ear and reminds me of The Nutcracker ballet
I chose [name_f]Ruthie[/name_f] because when I said your children’s names out loud, [name_f]Ruthie[/name_f] flowed the easiest for me.
[name_f]Florence[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] are beautiful but I went with [name_f]Florence[/name_f] in the end - I love the flow and sound of the name and I think it has the same grandeur and length of [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] and [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m]
I voted for [name_f]Clara[/name_f]. I think it goes best with [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] & [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m]! [name_f]Florence[/name_f] would be my second pick.
I love [name_f]Ruthie[/name_f] and I chose it but, I do think [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] would look a bit better on a job application. All your names are gorgeous though so I’m sure whatever you pick will be fantastic!
I voted for [name_f]Sybil[/name_f] because it has such a classy sound. I think it is a very underrated name. However, I love [name_f]Florence[/name_f] as well! [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is lovely but a bit boring to me compared to your other choices. [name_f]Ruthie[/name_f] is too much like a nickname. I like [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] though!
Thank you, all! I think you might be right about [name_f]Ruthie[/name_f] being too nickname-y to go with [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] and [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m]. So far I’m really loving [name_f]Florence[/name_f] ([name_f]Cosima[/name_f] [name_f]Liv[/name_f]), but [name_f]Clara[/name_f] ([name_f]Theodora[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]) is still capturing my heart.
[name_m]Edmund[/name_m] [name_u]Willoughby[/name_u] [name_m]Prosper[/name_m] and [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m] are the full names.
I absolutely adore the name [name_f]Sybil[/name_f], but I think [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Florence[/name_f] work best with the brother names. Cl@r@ The0d0r@ L!ly gets my vote!
Thank you very much, all! I think I might actually be semi-decided on [name_f]Clara[/name_f]! [name_f]Florence[/name_f] seems to have a lack of intuitive nicknames, where [name_f]Clara[/name_f] might not need one.
I voted for [name_f]Clara[/name_f] because it’s the first in alphabetical order, haha. Honestly, I wouldn’t use [name_f]Ruthie[/name_f] (I think [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] is beautiful in its own right) but I have a hard time deciding between [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Florence[/name_f], and [name_f]Sybil[/name_f].
I think [name_f]Florence[/name_f] fits best. It shares the serious yet sweet vintage feel of the other two names and I like that all three names have unusual ending sounds.
I was between [name_f]Florence[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f]. I went with [name_f]Clara[/name_f] because I find it sweet and elegant without being fussy. [name_f]Florence[/name_f] might sound slightly more stylistically matched to [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] and [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m], but at the end of the day in real life I think sibset flow shouldn’t be top priority. [name_f]Ruthie[/name_f] “fits” the least with the boys names but if you have a strong feeling about it I wouldn’t let the different vibe stop you from using it. [name_f]Ruthie[/name_f] seems more cutesy than the more formal [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] and [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] but it still has a vintage vibe to me which ties in.
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] got my vote. [name_f]Florence[/name_f] would also work. Both have a similar style as [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] and [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m].
Thanks again, all!
