Thomasina

i was just wondering if there were any vintage/old fashioned nicknames for [name]Thomasina[/name]?

what do you think of it generally?

be honest… does it make you think of a cat? because thats why my hubby said when i suggested it to him xxx

what do you think a little girl called [name]Thomasina[/name] would look like?

I do think of the movie with the cat! I loved that movie.

I knew a girl with this name in high school who was much older than me & a really vibrant & dynamic person. She kind of reminded me of [name]Sarah[/name] [name]Jessica[/name] [name]Parker[/name] so I get that vibe too. Like a [name]Carrie[/name] [name]Bradshaw[/name]

[name]Tommie[/name], Tassy, [name]Minnie[/name] (my fave), [name]Sina[/name], [name]Sinnie[/name], [name]Tina[/name], [name]Mina[/name]…

It does make me think of a cat… but it has great potential. [name]Sebastian[/name] made me think of a crab the first twenty times I heard it… now it’s in my top 5 for boys. [name]Bessie[/name] always reminded me of a cow, but it is a great vintage name for a girl.

Can’t think of any nicknames besides [name]Tina[/name].

I like [name]Tommie[/name] and [name]Tommy[/name]. [name]Tamsin[/name] and [name]Tammy[/name] aren’t bad either. [name]Tammy[/name] is very vintage but I don’t mind it; lots of other people hate it but it has a [name]Judy[/name]/[name]Betty[/name]/[name]Susie[/name] fresh-scrubbed '50s appeal to me.

[name]Thomasina[/name] is too masculine for a girl, but [name]Tamsin[/name] is nice name. NN for [name]Thomasina[/name] can be [name]Mina[/name], [name]Tammy[/name], [name]Tamsin[/name]…

[name]Thomasina[/name] doesn’t make me think of the cat. I’ve heard it enough to get that association out of my mind, I guess. I don’t like [name]Thomasina[/name], honestly, but I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Tamsin[/name]!

I think [name]Maisie[/name] could be a really cute nickname for [name]Thomasina[/name].

I know a Thomsina who goes by [name]Sina[/name]. I think it’s cute.
