I was just scrolling through the full list of names given to Scottish girls in 2011 and came across this. Hyphenated names are common here, but I have never in my life come across a quadruple-barreled name. The middle two appear to be Japanese and are surrounded by the very Scandanavian-sounding [name]Thora[/name] and [name]Freya[/name]. I wonder what the story is behind it and what the little girl actually goes by. I counted 11 syllables in that name so she can’t go by all of it! There is also a Dur-E-Mcknoon which I think is actually weirder even though it’s shorter. Actually scratch that, it IS weirder.
