Thoughts on these combos? Thanks in advance.
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Cressida[/name_f]
[name_f]Giselle[/name_f] [name_f]Nefertiti[/name_f]
[name_f]Georgina[/name_f] Eydis - Eydis is Norse goddess
[name_f]Dorothea[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f]
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Nerissa[/name_f]
[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_f]Wendy[/name_f]
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] Blanchefleur - Blanchefleur is Arthurian character.
Not my favorite names. Typically, when people like names, they like a certain theme of names. Something that sounds southern, or old-fashioned, or european, or soft sounds, or hard sounds; however, this list doesn’t seem to be following any kind of pattern. The only two I really like is [name_f]Alice[/name_f] Blanchefleur and Dorothea Blythe. They have a nice ring, flows well, and are consistant. The rest is a bit too mod-podge.
[name_f]Giselle[/name_f] is a very smooth name, consisting of [name_m]Long[/name_m] consonants and short vowels, while Nerfertiti consists of mostly short consonants and long vowels, and as a result they don’t sound like they flow together. Beatrice Cressida is the opposite, and is especially difficult because of the difference in Latin and Greek origins. I’d suggest putting Beatrice towards Nerfertiti, since they both have a hard T sound, and Giselle with Cressida, since they both have the long drawn out double letters.
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] - lovely. I love both names. I do like this combo though I probably wouldn’t have paired them together myself (too much ‘s’ sound).
[name_f]Giselle[/name_f] [name_f]Nefertiti[/name_f] - Not a fan of either name really and don’t love them together. [name_f]Nefertiti[/name_f] is too much for me.
[name_f]Georgina[/name_f] Eydis - I prefer [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f]. Eydis is kinda cool
[name_f]Dorothea[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] - my favorite. so gorgeous. I’d probably use it for my own kiddo!
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Nerissa[/name_f] - I love [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] but not sure about [name_f]Nerissa[/name_f]. I’d prefer [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Cressida[/name_f].
[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_f]Wendy[/name_f] - I don’t love these two together but I like them separately.
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] Blanchefleur - Interesting! Although I’d like [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Blanche[/name_f], [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Fleur[/name_f] or [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Flora[/name_f] better!
Some I think make great combos -
[name_f]Dorothea[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f]
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Nerissa[/name_f] (works well even though [name_f]Nerissa[/name_f] isn’t a favourite of mine)
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] Blanchefleur (my favourite of the combos -so cool!)
Others I love the name but not the pairing so much - [name_f]Cressida[/name_f], [name_f]Georgina[/name_f], [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f].
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] - Really like these together, they have an old-fashioner but stylish feel.
[name_f]Giselle[/name_f] [name_f]Nefertiti[/name_f] - [name_f]Giselle[/name_f] is NMS but [name_f]Nefertiti[/name_f] gives it a lot of character, I like this as a combo.
[name_f]Georgina[/name_f] Eydis - I love both names! [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] is sweet and vintage, Eydis unique and beautiful. But I think they might be too different to work together.
[name_f]Dorothea[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] - [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] is NMS but it pairs really well with [name_f]Dorothea[/name_f].
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Nerissa[/name_f] - Quite Greek, but if you don’t mind that then it’s a sweet combo.
[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_f]Wendy[/name_f] - I’d like [name_f]Wendy[/name_f] [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] much more but this is nice
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] Blanchefleur - [name_f]Lovely[/name_f]!!!
