[name_m]Just[/name_m] found out we having a girl (thought it was a boy.) Struggling with girl name. [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t want top 100 name (but love many of them.) want feminine sounding but also name that evokes strength/intelligence? Have a son [name_u]Dean[/name_u] [name_u]Eliot[/name_u] so also would like daughter’s name to fit with his? Below is our list. Any feedback or other ideas? Thanks so much!!!
I think [name_f]Lila[/name_f] and [name_u]Dean[/name_u] go nicely together. [name_f]Vera[/name_f] would be my second choice, followed by [name_u]Brooke[/name_u].
Congratulations and all the best with getting your heads around the gender switch! [name_u]Dean[/name_u] [name_u]Eliot[/name_u] is lovely! I love either of the following for his [name_f]Sister[/name_f]:
[name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] gets my vote. Definitely the vibe you’re looking for and sounds great with [name_u]Dean[/name_u]. Good luck!
[name_u]Dean[/name_u] & [name_f]Vera[/name_f]! I also like [name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], but [name_f]Vera[/name_f] [name_f]Corrine[/name_f] is my favourite.
[name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is perfect with [name_u]Dean[/name_u] [name_u]Eliot[/name_u]. I also like [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f].
Quick thought: [name_u]Delaney[/name_u] and [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] start the the same letter as [name_u]Dean[/name_u]. If you have a third how would you feel about the two D’s? Is it starting a trend or do you just not care if #3 has a different fist initial? (My DH wouldn’t care, I’d care a lot… so you just need to answer that for yourself). Same goes for [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] as a mn as Deans mn is [name_u]Eliot[/name_u].
I like [name_f]Vera[/name_f] best, followed by [name_f]Lila[/name_f] (fyi: [name_f]Lila[/name_f] - prn [name_u]Lee[/name_u]-la - os the [name_m]German[/name_m] word for purple).
All of your ideas are so pretty! My idea for you would be [name_f]Sadie[/name_f], with any of your favorite middles. [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] means “princess” but sounds really strong. It also goes well with [name_u]Dean[/name_u]
Congratulations on your daughter, and happy naming!
I think [name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is great with [name_u]Dean[/name_u] [name_u]Elliot[/name_u]! [name_f]Vera[/name_f] [name_f]Corrine[/name_f] is nice too, but I think [name_f]Lila[/name_f] and [name_u]Dean[/name_u] are the best combo.
Another vote for [name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. I likethat [name_f]Lila[/name_f] and [name_u]Dean[/name_u] are both short and simple, and I like that their middle names would both begin with E, which could be a cute connection.
I like [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], and the names [name_f]Kyla[/name_f] and [name_u]Kelsey[/name_u]. I think maybe different middle names though
[name_f]Lila[/name_f] (pronounced just like my name, so yeah, I love it) and [name_f]Vera[/name_f] (my absolute favorite for you) are both stunning and would fit terrifically with brother [name_u]Dean[/name_u]'s name.
