What are your thoughts about [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] [name_f]Hettie[/name_f]? [name_f]Hettie[/name_f] would honor my dad. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] [name_f]Poet[/name_f] ([name_f]Poet[/name_f] honoring my late grandma) or [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] [name_f]Hettie[/name_f] better? [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] honors my late sister.
I love the suggestion of Isabel Posey, so adding that here also.
Isabel Poet, Isabel Hettie, Isabel Posey, or Isabel Poesy?
Considering all have distinct, personal meaning and honorings I think both are lovely. I think [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] [name_f]Hettie[/name_f] sounds a little better flow wise, because [name_f]Poet[/name_f] feels more abrupt though I like the idea of Poet better. You could go [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] [name_f]Hettie[/name_f] [name_f]Poet[/name_f]
Would you consider [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] [name_f]Poesy[/name_f]? Means [name_f]Poetry[/name_f], as well as references [name_f]Posey[/name_f] (bouquet of flowers), and has a better balance [name_f]IMO[/name_f]. This combo sounds wonderful.
I never thought about [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] [name_f]Poesy[/name_f]. I really like it. It would be extra special because it also references flowers. Thank you for the suggestion.
They’re all lovely… I think I like [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] [name_f]Hettie[/name_f] best though (my preference would be [name_f]Hetty[/name_f], but it’s not a big deal).
I adore [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] [name_f]Posey[/name_f], but I feel it’s a bit too floral and airy, and quite heavy with the ‘‘s’’ sound if we’re being picky - and even more picky, I’d spell it [name_f]Posy[/name_f] for aesthetic reasons since there’s a bigger difference in length (and the fact the second last letter is the same bothers me).
I really like [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] [name_f]Poet[/name_f] too, but I’ll never love it as much as [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_f]Poet[/name_f] which you had considered literally months ago but I’ve been in love with it since!
[name_f]Olivia[/name_f], I still love [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_f]Poet[/name_f] but dropped it a while ago for [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u]. We found ourselves wanting to say [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] instead of [name_f]Sofia[/name_f]. I love saying the whole combo of [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u], just like [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_u]Story[/name_u] [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f].
