What are your thoughts about [name_m]Torin[/name_m]?
I love it a lot! I’m considering [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] [name_m]Torin[/name_m] for my own list. 
I like it. Am also fond of [name_m]Thorin[/name_m] or [name_m]Torsten[/name_m]. They all have strong but affable vibes to them and I like the Scandinavian origins because that goes with my heritage.
This has been my absolute favorite name since I was a kid. It’s not popular and it’s super handsome. I’ve only ever known two people with the name and one spells it differently. Such an absolute gorgeous name.
[name_m]Torin[/name_m] is a side character in [name_f]Sharon[/name_f] Shinn’s novel Darkmoon Defender. It’s part of a fantasy series. [name_m]Torin[/name_m] is the fiercely protective older brother of the female protagonist. He’s very skilled in combat.

I like [name_m]Torin[/name_m]. I actually know three girls named [name_m]Torin[/name_m] - a Torann (around 15), [name_m]Toryn[/name_m] (9) and a [name_m]Torrin[/name_m] (around 3) so it feels really unisex to me leaning more towards girls only because that’s why I’m familiar with. I’d like to meet a little boy named [name_m]Torin[/name_m] though!
I know a girl named [name_m]Torrin[/name_m], but I personally think it’s better suited as a boy’s name.
I have only come across it recently but it has joined my own list straight away as I really like it. Although simple in sound, it carries a lot of weight in those 2 syllables giving the impression of a strong minded yet caring protector.
I like [name_m]Torin[/name_m] a lot, though I prefer [name_m]Thorin[/name_m]/[name_m]Thoren[/name_m].
These names strike a good balance between familiarity and uniqueness.
I like [name_m]Torin[/name_m]! It’s handsome and unusual, yet not too “out there”. I’m also a fan of [name_f]Taron[/name_f], which I believe is a spelling variation of the Welsh word for “thunder”.
I love it. It fits in on my long list really well.
