Thoughts and imagery on this name?

Thoughts on quitterie? as a middle… what imagery do you see?

I think of the act of quitting when I hear and read the name so I’m not really sure about the name itself. Is it pronounced quit-er-y? But other than what it sounds like, I think of the color green and bird’s flying around chirping on the first day of spring

kee-tree or kee-tuh-ree is the pronunciation. It’s a saints name. Thank you!

It reminds me a bit too much of quiting, sorry but knowing the right pronunciation, i do quite like the sound. I get imagery of woods and hills

I agree with the previous responses. [name_m]Just[/name_m] seeing it my assumption would be that it’s pronounced like Quit-Ery and that sounds quite negative to me, like quitter. Seeing your pronunciation I really like the sound though. If you’re using it as a middle name I do think you could get away with it though since people don’t often go by their middle names, especially as they get older.

I went to school with someone with this name, though I didn’t really know her personally. I’ll be honest, until now I’d thought the name was “made up.” Maybe it’s just because I’ve seen the name in use, but I think it’s fairly wearable especially with a nickname, but it’s also “a lot” (though that’s not necessarily a bad thing). Personally I’d go the middle name route with this one, though.
