[name_m]Hi[/name_m]!! I’m expecting a baby girl in [name_f]April[/name_f] and I believe we’ve settled on the first name [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] (but I’m open to other suggestions, if you have them!) Other names we have considered but nixed for various reasons: [name_f]Harriet[/name_f], [name_f]Celine[/name_f], [name_f]Colette[/name_f], [name_f]Greta[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] (now in the running as a middle, but can’t be her first name).
A few questions for you naming experts…
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you see any issues with the flow/etc with our last name (rhymes with Hipp, starts with a K, and is in my profile name, haha)?
Or any flow issues with our son’s name, [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u]?
And lastly, if we do go with [name_f]Estelle[/name_f], which middle combo do you prefer: [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] ([name_u]Ruby[/name_u] has a family connection) or [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] (I think I like this one better, but it has no family connection, which seems to be bothering my husband).

I think [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] flows well with your last name and your son’s name. I also think [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] has a better flow than [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], but both combos are lovely!
[name_f]Estelle[/name_f] is perfect. It’s absolutely lovely (and starry :p), flows well with your last name and sounds nice next to her older brother’s name. Personally I prefer [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] (biased, as I have both [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] somewhere on my short list), but if using honour name is really important maybe save [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] for a possible future sibling? [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] is very pretty too.
Thanks for the thoughts, everyone! This will be the last kiddo, which is maybe why I want to use [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] as the middle (because I loved it for a first name, but I just couldn’t get the husband on the same page). Maybe I’ll just stick with [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] to keep him happy. It’s not a BAD combo, and I guess it’s not like we’d call her by [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] all that often.

Is [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] a possibility? If this is going to be your last child, and you love both names - use them both. [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] sounds gorgeous.
