I love that name! Although it is a little out there. If you’re brave enough to use it than go for it!!
That’s why I like it; that sounds like [name_u]Wild[/name_u] [name_f]Blossom[/name_f].
Oh, I love it so much! I don’t mind that it’s wordy. I think it’s beautiful and spunky
Blossom is actually very cute. I would go more traditional with the middle.
[name_f]Blossom[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]
[name_f]Blossom[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Blossom[/name_f] [name_f]Michaela[/name_f]
Super sweet! I like that there’s kind of a theme between them, and that the frilly, feminine [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] is balanced by the more masculine [name_u]Wilder[/name_u]! [name_u]Love[/name_u]!
Blossom [name_u]Wilder[/name_u] is really cool and sweet
It’s too out there for me. I can’t imagine an employer thinking positively about a resume with the first name of [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] I think there are much more usable names with the same sort of fairy/nature vibe.
Maybe [name_f]Bea[/name_f]/Bee? Or [name_f]Bluma[/name_f]?
Sorry not fan of [name_f]Bea[/name_f]/Bee as a full name. Most definitely as a nickname. [name_f]Nor[/name_f] [name_f]Bluma[/name_f]
Love it!
Oh gosh I love it! It’s so springy and fresh.
I think it’s cheesy tbh. I would not use them together.
Unpopular opinion, but I’m not a fan.
I think choosing an unusual and untraditional name is great, but I think in that case, the middle name should be something that’s more name-like, if that makes sense. This comes from my own experience in having a first and middle name which I considered unusable, no matter how much my parents liked it.
I like [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] and I like [name_u]Wilder[/name_u]. I don’t like them together.
I would do something like:
Blossom [name_f]May[/name_f]
[name_f]Blossom[/name_f] [name_u]Anne[/name_u]
[name_f]Blossom[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]
[name_f]Blossom[/name_f] [name_u]Leigh[/name_u]
[name_f]Blossom[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
I think it’s a stunner of a combo!
People are worried about it being unwearable, but I reckon that names evolve over time, along with our impressions of them. By the time [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] is a working professional, her name might be seen as much more normal alongside her peers [name_u]Story[/name_u], [name_u]Ever[/name_u] and [name_u]Fox[/name_u].
I have a friend called Tinkerbell and she has no troubles finding jobs or being taken seriously. If anything, she’s hard to forget!
Wilder lends [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] a mischievous, androgynous energy which (imo) takes away some of the super-feminine cheesiness that might come if you used a traditional/normal middle name like [name_f]Rose[/name_f] or [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f].
That’s a decent point, but I just don’t think [name_u]Story[/name_u], [name_u]Ever[/name_u], or [name_u]Fox[/name_u] will ever be popular enough that [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] would blend in. I think these names are and will be the outlier. Which is great and why we like them. But two names like that together wouldn’t be my choice while it may be yours.
I also have to admit, and forgive me for saying this, but I would change my name if it was Tinkerbell. It just doesn’t wear well on an adult woman who wants to be taken seriously in the business world.
Nothing to forgive! A good robust discussion is what the forums are for
I totally get it re Tinkerbell. It’s not a name for everyone. But the Tink I know wears it with pride and is taken seriously because she exudes confidence in herself.
It’s not that [name_u]Story[/name_u], [name_u]Ever[/name_u], [name_u]Fox[/name_u] and [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] will be top 50 names, but they will be more common than they are in our generation, as well as other unusual names - because names in general are trending that way. Popular names, while still popular, are not used at the overwhelming rate they used to be (e.g. a smaller percentage of parents choose top 10 names than they did last generation). There are a whole raft of unique names cropping up.
Totally respect your opinion on it, though. And of course, this is nothing more than mine.
