Hello all,
Lately iam loving [name_f]Raphaelle[/name_f] a lot! What do you think of it? [name_m]How[/name_m] would you pronounce it?
[name_f]TIA[/name_f]
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Raphaelle[/name_f]! However, I do prefer [name_f]Raphaela[/name_f]. Both absolutely gorgeous!! I pronounce it raf-ay-elle, or raf-ay-ella
Pretty! I’d say it something like raph-eye-elle first instinct, or raph-a-elle.
I like it! I say Raph-ah-elle
Thank you all very much!
Is the pronounciation raf-EYE-el, accessible?
Id say rah-fah-EH-lla
I dont think raf-EYE-el is accessible, you cant just not pronounce the a in my opinion, but I could see raf-eye-EH-lla
Where is the a?
Although I personally prefer [name_f]Rafaela[/name_f], I think [name_f]Raphaelle[/name_f] is beautiful! I would pronounce it similarly to [name_m]Raphael[/name_m] but with more emphasis on the -elle i.e. rah-fay-[name_f]ELLE[/name_f]
I would automatically pronounce it raf-eye-el, so I think it’s accessible.
I’d say “raf-eye-[name_f]ELLE[/name_f]” with the stress on the final syllable. It’s a gorgeous name!
“Raf-eye-[name_f]ELLE[/name_f]” is the intuitive pronunciation!! A beautiful name.
I’m pretty sure raf-EYE-el is close to the correct pronunciation of [name_f]Raphaelle[/name_f], and that’s sort of how I pronounce it, although I think you gloss over the ‘eye’ sound a bit, so it’s less prominent.
I think this link (How to Pronounce Raphaëlle - PronounceNames.com - YouTube) has a pretty accurate pronunciation.
Definitely would automatically go for Raf-eye-elle, same as the male counterpart. So very accessible and a lovely name! I to prefer [name_f]Raphaela[/name_f], but [name_f]Raphaelle[/name_f] is still lovely.
Oh, I’m sorry, I accidentally misread it as Raphaella, apologies!
Raf-EYE-el does work then, though if I heard that name I would assume it as a boy and would have to be corrected
Rah-fah-yell! Not my favourite name, but it’s good
