Thoughts for a third: Clementine and others

I’m looking for a name for our third, a sister for [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] and [name_u]Arlo[/name_u]. At the moment I really feel like [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is a good fit. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] sounds good with [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] and [name_u]Arlo[/name_u]? My only concern is that we are set on using [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] (a family name) in the middle spot- does [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] just make you want to burst into song?!

We’re also considering [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] as a fn, and we have [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]Liberty[/name_f] and [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Annie[/name_f]-[name_f]May[/name_f]) on our list.

[name_f]Anoushka[/name_f] is another name we love, but it would mean dropping [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] altogether.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated

I think [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] is lovely. [name_u]True[/name_u], it is very girly and sweet, but I think the fact that both names have classic roots makes the name slightly more grounded.

I do like [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] though and the nn [name_f]Annie[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] is gorgeous, but I think [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] fits better with [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] and [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] than [name_f]Susannah[/name_f].

I love [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Susannah[/name_f]! I agree with wingardiumliviosa: [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] / [name_f]Annie[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] is wonderful, but I think [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] works better with your other kids’ names.

Thanks for replying @wingardiumliviosa and @meraud! I’m glad you both like [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Susannah[/name_f], I’m really feeling good about it. I was worried it was to folksy for one girl, with references to both “my darlin [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]” and “Oh [name_f]Susanna[/name_f]” ”
