Thoughts: Nolan Wayne

What are your thoughts on the combo [name_u]Nolan[/name_u] [name_m]Wayne[/name_m]? I like it bc it honors my late uncle; [name_m]Mark[/name_m] [name_m]Wayne[/name_m], which one of my brothers were named after; [name_m]Mark[/name_m]. And [name_u]Nolan[/name_u] bc I just [name_u]Nolan[/name_u].

I’m not a fan of the name [name_m]Wayne[/name_m] or the fact that they both end in N, but it’s a decent combo.

It’s a good combo! I never give feedback on honour names because they feel very exclusive and untouchable, but [name_u]Nolan[/name_u] is very sweet and they flow decently well despite the similar ending sounds.

Nolan [name_m]Wayne[/name_m] is quite nice. [name_u]Nolan[/name_u] is a good, solid name

Love it! Both names have a similar all American style for me. Feels athletic too! [name_u]Nolan[/name_u] is one of my favorites and I knew a great teacher named [name_m]Wayne[/name_m] so I feel positive about both these names.

Wow!! I just love this combo! I think this would be a good way to honor your uncle.

My brain immediately went to [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] Nolan, who directed the Dark [name_m]Knight[/name_m] trilogy, in which [name_m]Bruce[/name_m] Wayne is the main character. If this connection does not bother you, I think it’s a nice enough name.

Nolan & [name_m]Wayne[/name_m] both end in a N sound. It ruins the flow. [name_m]Mark[/name_m] probably wouldn’t be a problem anyways & [name_u]Nolan[/name_u] [name_m]Mark[/name_m] sounds great & fresh! ^^ Does your uncle [name_m]Mark[/name_m] have a different surname than this baby will? You could use that.

I actually like the Dark [name_m]Knight[/name_m] connection. I mean it’s not one of my top movies, but I still like it.

I think I’m the only one here who likes the flow  I’m not usually a fan of either names but they really seem to complement each other here. The combo feels kind of nostalgic, since both names are a little dated, but [name_u]Nolan[/name_u] gives a little energy to it.

I think [name_u]Nolan[/name_u] [name_m]Wayne[/name_m] is nice. Not a huge fan of [name_m]Wayne[/name_m] typically, but I like that it’s an honor name!

It’s a good name and very meaningful!

I actually like the double-n flow! I think it’s a very handsome combo, and the retro [name_m]Wayne[/name_m] is a great match with the trendier/modern [name_u]Nolan[/name_u].

I like it! I’ve always loved [name_u]Nolan[/name_u] and I also love honor names! I’m firmly in the camp that meaning is Much more important than flow (although I really don’t see anything wrong with the flow here). A name you love + honoring a family member you love = the perfect name!

Edit to add: if double n sounds is bothersome to you- could possibly do Nolan Marcus as a little honor name twist and honor both your uncle and brother?
