DH and I usually like turn of the century names like [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], [name_f]Cora[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], [name_f]Isobel[/name_f], ect. however lately some of our top picks have been feeling a little bit bland. I’ve been thinking about [name_f]Thea[/name_f]. It’s a name I have always liked but I’m not sure if I would use it. What are the berries thoughts on this? Also do you think it could pair well with our daughter’s names [name_f]Lilla[/name_f] (short i like [name_f]Lily[/name_f]) and [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]?
I like [name_f]Thea[/name_f], [name_f]Lilla[/name_f] and [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]! Gorgeous sibset! I prefer [name_f]Dorothea[/name_f] to [name_f]Thea[/name_f], but [name_f]Thea[/name_f] is also very nice.
I think [name_f]Thea[/name_f] is a unique name for a unique baby.I think it would match. just say the three names out loud:
[name_f]Lila[/name_f],[name_f]Vivi[/name_f], [name_f]Thea[/name_f]
They’re all short and simple but cute and not that popular.
By the way, you know that [name_f]Thea[/name_f] means gift of God and that it’s Greek. It can also be spelled [name_f]Thia[/name_f] and is short of [name_f]Dorothea[/name_f].
Also, something similar to consider is Theanna if you like the name [name_f]Anna[/name_f].
From your list above of names you like my favorite one is [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f].
I don’t care for it much, but that could be because I’m Greek, and to us, [name_f]Thea[/name_f] and [name_u]Theo[/name_u] mean “Aunt” and “Uncle”.
I love your kids’ names and [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], and [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] are all lovely and would fit well! [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] is also one of my favorites
I am a big fan of [name_f]Thea[/name_f] and short, sassy names.
[name_f]Lilla[/name_f] and [name_f]Thea[/name_f] have a shared ending, so I don’t like it for your sibset.
I love [name_f]Thea[/name_f]! I like that it’s simple enough that no one will really question it, but it’s still stand out from [name_f]Mia[/name_f], [name_f]Leah[/name_f], etc. Theres a little girl named [name_f]Thea[/name_f] in my church’s bible school this week, and she’s really bubbly and cute!
I love [name_f]Thea[/name_f]! I suggested it to my husband and he said it sounded like someone had a lisp. :-/ But that doesn’t sway my love for it.
I came across this name when a friend through a friend named her daughter [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] and they called her [name_f]Thea[/name_f] for short. They said [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] more like Th-ee-uh-[name_f]Dora[/name_f] rather than Th-ee-oh-[name_f]Dora[/name_f].
[name_f]Thea[/name_f] is also a character on [name_m]Arrow[/name_m].
I’ve also seen it said as [name_m]Thay[/name_m]-uh which I do not care for as much as Thee-uh.
