I have always loved the name [name_u]Percy[/name_u] for a boy. My husband was not crazy about it UNTIL (get this) last night during the sea hawks game [name_u]Percy[/name_u] was running that game and kickin’ tail and I think he saw a whole new face to the name but he was still not ready to give in on it being a first name so…what do you ladies think of…
I don’t think they work together very well in terms of style. They’re also both unisex, which I don’t really recommend. It’s better if at least one name in the combo makes the gender apparent. I’ve only known female Shilohs, I have a hard time picturing it on a boy. [name_u]Percy[/name_u] is great, but soft sounding. It needs to be paired with something stronger than [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u].
I agree that [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] to me seems very feminine, and doesn’t seem to suit [name_u]Percy[/name_u]. [name_u]Percy[/name_u] is a classic name, somewhat regal, and is also short. Perhaps trying a first name with a syllable or two more than [name_u]Percy[/name_u] would work better?
[name_m]Just[/name_m] did a quick search of [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] to see what names came up as possible alternatives:
