I love the name Ailee for a girl but my husband is worried it’s too easy for other kids to make fun of… calling her “alien”. What do you think? Would it stop you from using the name?
I don’t associate it with aliens. The sound is ok; it sounds sort of like the name [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f] which I like. I’m not fond of the spelling, -ee ending names sometimes look sort of synthetic to me. Ailey or Ailie would be better imo.
Not a fan, but I definitely didn’t think of aliens. Ailey would look nicer on paper than Ailee - I agree with PP about ee names, they’re quite juvenile.
I never would have thought of alien. I think it’s a bit too cutesy, but it’s a cute name.
I’m not a huge fan of -lee names. But I don’t think the alien thing will be an issue.
