I have been thinking of [name_f]Alaska[/name_f] (nn [name_u]Sky[/name_u]) recently, after [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] and [name_m]Felix[/name_m]. What do you guys think?
Thank you

I quite like it, I think it’s a sweet name. Personally, I would only use a place name though if I had a strong connection to it, for example, I went on honeymoon there or it was the place a family member or I was born.
Thank you!
We just really like the State and the landscapes.
I just read a book with [name_f]Alaska[/name_f] as the main character. I think it’s a great name. [name_u]Sky[/name_u] is a cute nn too!
I think [name_f]Alaska[/name_f] is pretty, however [name_u]Sky[/name_u], as gorgeous as it is, seems like a big stretch for a nickname.
I am not a fan of children being named after places, states or countries.
Too tied to the state
I think of [name_f]Alaska[/name_f] Nebraska, a [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_u]Montana[/name_u] parody from the Simpsons. I prefer [name_f]Aleska[/name_f].
[name_f]Alaska[/name_f] is very pretty! For a nn, though, [name_u]Sky[/name_u] is a stretch for me… Maybe [name_u]Allie[/name_u]?
For a mn, [name_f]Alaska[/name_f] should be coupled with a strong (old?) name… eg. [name_u]Jean[/name_u], [name_f]Christine[/name_f], [name_f]Sabine[/name_f], etc.
