[name_m]Just[/name_m] after some opinions We have decided to call our boy [name_m]Alby[/name_m] and have 4 options for middle names. I would like to honour my dad and his side of the family. He is Scottish. The options are:
[name_u]James[/name_u] (used a lot in our family-I already have a brother & stepbrother named [name_u]James[/name_u] and my sister used it as a middle name for her boy)
[name_m]Hamish[/name_m] (Scottish [name_u]James[/name_u])
[name_m]Stewart[/name_m] (the family tartan)
[name_u]Fife[/name_u] (the region my dad’s from)
Our surname is Alcock and we have a 3 year old boy named [name_m]Mack[/name_m] [name_m]Haydon[/name_m] Alcock. His names honour my husbands side of the family.
[name_u]James[/name_u] has become a go-to middle name for boys nowadays, it’s kind of like [name_f]Rose[/name_f] for girl middles. [name_m]Alby[/name_m] [name_u]Fife[/name_u], I don’t mind but the two are too unusual together. So I prefer [name_m]Hamish[/name_m] or [name_m]Stewart[/name_m].
I love [name_m]Alby[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u]!
I think [name_m]Alby[/name_m] [name_u]Fife[/name_u] Alcock is fantastic! What a cool idea for an awesome name! I love all your alternatives to boring but tried and true [name_u]James[/name_u]—after [name_u]Fife[/name_u], I like [name_m]Stewart[/name_m] next best with [name_m]Alby[/name_m], and then [name_m]Hamish[/name_m]. Theyre all great.
