This morning I was mulling over my list again I have always admired the name [name]Frances[/name]… and thought about the combo [name]Anna[/name]-[name]Frances[/name]. [name]Just[/name] wondering thoughts about it.
[name]Anna[/name]-[name]Frances[/name] is lovely, although nms.
I really prefer [name]Francesca[/name] to [name]Frances[/name].
I love it! [name]Anna[/name] is a very soft name to me while [name]Frances[/name] is a bit more sturdy and together I think they flow very nicely!
I really like [name]Anna[/name]-[name]Frances[/name]. It is very classic and “sturdy” but still can be fun or playful. The only negative is that it does scream [name]Anne[/name] [name]Frank[/name] to me but I think that she is a powerful historical namesake.
I immediately thought of [name]Anne[/name] [name]Frank[/name]. It is quite pretty, though.
[name]Anna[/name]-[name]Frances[/name] is a great combination-- it takes 2 names that are more plain and makes them very lovely.
I think it’s a great combination. It isn’t my style but can most definitely appreciate on someone else
I actually know an [name]Anna[/name]-[name]Frances[/name]. I think it’s nice, but not something that absolutely wows me.
I agree with the pps who said it reminds them of [name]Anne[/name] [name]Frank[/name]. Also, with garnet in that it doesn’t “wow” me. It is nice. I like both names separately, so together they’re good too.
I was considering the double barreled name [name]Lily[/name] [name]Frances[/name] for a while. It’s a family name.
I usually prefer [name]Francesca[/name] to [name]Frances[/name], but [name]Anna[/name]-[name]Frances[/name] works beautifully as a combo, with just the right balance of vintage classic in both names. I didn’t think of [name]Anne[/name] [name]Frank[/name] at all.
I think it’s beautiful! I myself have been thinking a lot about [name]Frances[/name] lately and [name]Anna[/name]-[name]Frances[/name] is really cute, even though I don’t love hyphens in names. I didn’t think of [name]Anne[/name] [name]Frank[/name] until others pointed it out
I don’t like the fact that the first syllables of both names rhyme ([name]ANna[/name] [name]FRANces[/name]). Other than that, it’s a lovely combination.
Interesting!! I hadn’t thought of [name]Anne[/name] [name]Frank[/name] at all!!!
I love [name]Frances[/name] too! [name]Francis[/name] was my grandfathers name. My sisters name is [name]Mary[/name] [name]Frances[/name], which I like- but [name]Anna[/name] [name]Frances[/name] doesnt sound right for some reason…also the [name]Anne[/name] [name]Frank[/name] reference!
Ditto, it’s not a necessarily a bad association
[name]Anna[/name]-[name]Frances[/name] is very pretty. It’d be a great match with your kids’ names too!
I love the combo. Very pretty. I did not think of [name]Anne[/name] [name]Frank[/name] at all.
[name]Lori[/name],
Thank you so much for all of your very thoughtful input and your encouraging words I truely appreciate it! Your post has given me some things to think on, which is good. To answer your question, No; [name]Maggie[/name] and [name]Serena[/name] only have two names. What do you think of [name]John[/name] [name]Patrick[/name] for a boy with the rest of them? I know my girls list pretty well, and I am pretty confident that any of them would be a fitting choice, the hard part will be narrowing it down to just one, if the [name]Lord[/name] blesses us with another girl.
[name]Anna[/name]-[name]Frances[/name] reminds me of [name]Anne[/name] [name]Frank[/name].
I’d use the nn. [name]Annie[/name]-Fray, which I find adorable!!
Also, @lori johnson, I would not use [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Anne[/name] as it sounds like charlatan, which is a swindler or con artist.
