What are your honest thoughts on the names [name_m]Apollo[/name_m] and [name_m]Cassian[/name_m]?
I’m not sure on nicknames for [name_m]Apollo[/name_m] - any ideas? [name_m]Apollo[/name_m] doesn’t necessarily need a nickname in my opinion, but if you can think of any please let me know!
I like the nickname [name_u]Cass[/name_u] for [name_m]Cassian[/name_m], but I don’t like [name_f]Cassie[/name_f] as I find it too feminine. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think [name_f]Cassie[/name_f] as a nickname would be avoidable?
I think both names are fantastic. Both feel very strong and romantic to me.

[name_m]AX[/name_m] (with X being w/e the middle initial will be)
I think people typically respect what you want to be called. So as long as your son doesn’t want to be called [name_f]Cassie[/name_f], he will correct people. But I feel like for males (at least when they’re older) people do not default to the “ie” form. E.G.- No one assumes [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] goes by [name_m]Tommy[/name_m] unless he tells them that. In short, I would not worry about [name_f]Cassie[/name_f].
I like both, though I prefer [name_m]Cassian[/name_m] as a realistic first name. [name_m]Cassian[/name_m] [name_m]Apollo[/name_m] would be a lovely combo (as long as your last name doesn’t start with a “T,” “B,” “P,” etc because the initials will spell a word!)
I think [name_u]Cass[/name_u] is a perfectly natural nickname for [name_m]Cassian[/name_m], and I don’t think anyone would try to force “[name_f]Cassie[/name_f].”
