I enjoy the name, I have had a friend who would be around 30 right now, named [name_f]Arlee[/name_f]. She was gorgeous, a bit alternative mom. [name_m]Young[/name_m] and free spirit type, and it’s a very pretty name! I voted [name_u]Arley[/name_u] though which is the way I like it.
I myself don’t like the name at all.
I really like it (the [name_f]Arli[/name_f]) spelling. It’s different, but not totally unfamiliar.
I have a great aunt named [name_u]Arlie[/name_u]. She’s lovely and spunky and her name suits her perfectly. [name_f]My[/name_f] grandma and my other great aunts all have typical 1930’s names: [name_f]Barbara[/name_f], [name_f]Mary[/name_f], [name_f]Carol[/name_f]. I’ve always wondered how my great grandmother came up with something so unique for her time.
I voted Other, as I’d prefer [name_u]Arlie[/name_u]. I’m not sure how I feel about it - I immediately want to dislike it, but I must admit, it does have quite a nice sound. I definitely prefer [name_u]Arlie[/name_u] though, as I don’t think I’d warm to the name fast with it spelled any other way.
[name_f]Arli[/name_f] isn’t normally something I would like, but I used to babysit for the sweetest little girl named [name_f]Arleigh[/name_f], so I kind of have a soft spot for the name. I voted for [name_u]Arley[/name_u].
