Thoughts on Ashlyn or Athena?

Usually nameberry does it automatically for me when it recognises a name I’ve written, you can do it manually as well…

Do you mean the name links? They’re automatically created by an algorithm, appears after a few minutes after you post it.

Let me know if that wasn’t what you mean!

@angelastella5

[ name _ f ] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [ / name _ f ]
(without the spaces)

That is what I meant! But it doesn’t happen for me

It doesn’t for me for some reason… [name_f]Do[/name_f] you know how?

Alice
[name_f]Ava[/name_f]
[name_m]Joshua[/name_m]

If you edit your posts very soon after posting, sometimes when you try to edit it clashes with the linking algorithm and it won’t save the changes. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you edit replies?

Thanks let me try

It’s like this

[name_f]Aurora[/name_f]

Thank you, sometimes I do edit but even when I don’t it doesn’t appear

Well, they did appear in this

Thanks for making me notice!!

I did the [name thing and suddenly it appears everywhere so thank you everyone!!

I perfer [name_f]Athena[/name_f] but only because of my negative association with the name [name_f]Ashlyn[/name_f]. I would spell [name_f]Ashlyn[/name_f] as [name_f]Ashlynn[/name_f].

Ashlyn is not weird, but it feels basic to me.

Athena is stunning!! I know a girl who’s about 19 with the name, nothing but positivity for her and the people in her life. I remember when her mom first told me her name, it took my breath away!

I prefer [name_f]Athena[/name_f], though I’m not totally in love with either. [name_f]Ashlyn[/name_f] seems a bit made up to me. Maybe you would like:
[name_f]Aria[/name_f]
[name_f]Althea[/name_f]
[name_f]Thea[/name_f]
[name_f]Opal[/name_f]
[name_f]Amira[/name_f]
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]

My daughter’s name is [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] which is also outdated but I love it still. It’s hard! [name_f]Athena[/name_f] and ashlyn is my too 2

Ashlyn is a favorite of mine, but I wouldn’t spell it that way. I would either use the classic Irish spelling of [name_f]Aislinn[/name_f] or if you’re worried people won’t know how to pronounce it, I would use [name_f]Ashlin[/name_f]/Ashlinn.

Another option to get to [name_u]Ash[/name_u] is [name_u]Ashton[/name_u], but that’s a little more trendy whereas [name_f]Aislinn[/name_f]/Ashlyn is classic.

Ashlyn is cute. I like that spelling the best. I think overall [name_f]Athena[/name_f] is a better name, but I like flowery sounding names. Both are pretty good.
