I was wondering your thoughts on this name, and a few other things surrounding it.
- The alternate spelling [name_u]Oberon[/name_u]
- [name_f]Do[/name_f] you prefer it on a boy or a girl?
- Any good nickname ideas?
Thank you!

Thank you!
I don’t mind the way this name sounds but not a fan of the look, it looks like a name of some kind of gas station or something. But that’s not to say it’s not still a nice name!
Looks more masculine to me

I do prefer the [name_u]Oberon[/name_u] spelling.
I definitely prefer it on a boy.
[name_u]Ronnie[/name_u], [name_f]Berrie[/name_f] and Aubie were the first nicknames that came to mind.
It depends on how it’s pronounced, actually. How would you pronounce it?
i really like this name - a guilty pleasure for me ! it radiates a very strong fantasy elven woodland vibe, and would pair perfectly with a more expected name in either the middle or first name spot, or even an equally unusual to give it a cottagecore vibe !
i didn’t initially notice that i actually pronounce auberon and oberon differently - i still prefer auberon visually though
it reads very masculine to me, though i wouldn’t be against a feminine auberon !
berry (), roni, aubie, orion, bee, auri, beau
[name_u]Auberon[/name_u] is very charming and bold. It has a kind of magical feel and Shakespearean vibe
I do slightly prefer [name_u]Oberon[/name_u] but both look good!!

• both spellings are great, but I think I slightly prefer [name_u]Auberon[/name_u], just for the royal sort of vibe of it
• definitely prefer it for a boy, I think it’s a totally masculine name
• [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] could be a cool nickname!
