I love this name but I haven’t really seen in much on this forum and I’ve never met anybody actually called it. I wonder why it’s not more popular as it’s such a beautiful name.
I had it on my list! It’s beautiful!!
i’ve seen aurora quite a bit on the forums!! i think for some people it’s a bit of a guilty pleasure name because of the princess.
lots of people seem to like the nn rory.
I’ve actually known 3 girls with this name (2 went by [name_u]Rory[/name_u] and 1 spelled it Arora)! I think it’s pretty but it ranks #36 in the USA so it’s too popular for me.
I’m not from the US so maybe that’s why I haven’t heard it irl before.
I love [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]! I’ve only ever met one [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], despite it being fairly popular in the UK.
I know two, an adult, and a one year old. It’s growing on me. I’ve always struggled to say it though, but I think that’s just me.
I’ve come across one Aurora!! It’s a bright and pretty name and nn [name_u]Rory[/name_u] is cute
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] is lovely she feels sparkly and has a the [name_f]Princess[/name_f] association as a lover of Disney and the nature connection with the northern lights. Also the nickname [name_u]Rory[/name_u] is cool. @JacquelineWinnie loves this name! So I associate [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] with this berry
Downside of this name though is that I think she’s going to become trendy I’ve noticed a lot birth announcements featuring [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] especially with younger mums so I think she could be the next ‘it’ name therefore [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] appeals to me more but [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] is awesome.
