Thoughts on Benedict?

I’ve really come to love the name [name_m]Benedict[/name_m]. It’s uncommon without being too weird, and there’s always the nickname option of [name_m]Ben[/name_m] (though I still prefer the full [name_m]Benedict[/name_m].) I particularly like it when paired with my middle name of choice, [name_m]Benedict[/name_m] [name_m]Knox[/name_m].

Thoughts?

I like it too. It’s very distinguished. [name_m]Benedict[/name_m] [name_m]Knox[/name_m] sounds great.

I love [name_m]Benedict[/name_m], though I trip a little if I don’t pause between [name_m]Benedict[/name_m] and [name_m]Knox[/name_m].

You might like vintage nicknames [name_m]Benno[/name_m] or [name_m]Dix[/name_m].

I love [name_m]Benedict[/name_m]. It’s [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]'s older, more sophisticated brother and [name_m]Benedict[/name_m] [name_m]Knox[/name_m] sounds great

It’s not my sort of style at all, I can’t get into it. It’s not the kind of image I would like.

I do like [name_m]Ben[/name_m] as a NN though. And it’s a real name, spelled correctly, so if you love it…?

[name_f]LOVE[/name_f] [name_m]Benedict[/name_m], but since I hate the nickname [name_m]Ben[/name_m], which you really can’t avoid, I have it as middle name option only I’d love to see it used as a first though! [name_m]Benedict[/name_m] [name_m]Knox[/name_m] looks really cool, but doesn’t flow brilliantly well. But, if you love it, then that’s all that matters! Good luck! x

One of my best friends is a [name_m]Benedict[/name_m] and I love the name! It’s different without being ‘out there’ and any individual can ‘wear it’ and make it their own (:

I like it. If you really like the nickname [name_m]Ben[/name_m] but if you’ve known enough Benjamins for a lifetime, [name_m]Benedict[/name_m] is a good choice. I do agree that you might have to pause in between [name_m]Benedict[/name_m] and [name_m]Knox[/name_m].
