i am in love with the name [name_m]Brently[/name_m] ( i’m expecting a baby girl, her name is [name_u]Darby[/name_u] Metallica) but i just wanted to see what y’all had to say about the name (:

It makes me think of [name_u]Bentley[/name_u] the car manufacturer

I like it! Like others said it sounds like [name_m]Brent[/name_m], [name_u]Bentley[/name_u], [name_u]Brett[/name_u], [name_u]Braxton[/name_u], [name_u]Braiden[/name_u]/Brayden, etc. I think it’s cute and although I prefer one of the other names I listed I think it’s definitely useable! It won’t seem out of place next to all the [name_u]Jackson[/name_u] & [name_u]Jayden[/name_u].

It sounds very trendy, but if you like it go for it! It’s not my favourite, though. I would prefer just [name_m]Brent[/name_m] or another similar name like [name_m]Brandon[/name_m] or [name_u]Braeden[/name_u].

Similar, but I had a baby boy born recently (I work at a hospital) named [name_m]Brantly[/name_m] (or [name_m]Brantley[/name_m], I can’t remember). I personally don’t like them because it feels like a “trying too hard to be different” name between [name_m]Brent[/name_m] and [name_u]Bentley[/name_u].

I LOVE Metallica as a middle name for your baby girl tho!!

Brantley was on our list and [name_m]Brently[/name_m] has the same vibe to me so I like it. I got a lot of flack over [name_m]Brantley[/name_m] though - for some reason it seemed not to be a name most people liked. But on these forum sites most people only seem to like classic names. If you love it, go for it! There’s nothing wrong with [name_m]Brently[/name_m]. I think its quite handsome!

I think of the name [name_u]Bentley[/name_u]! I like [name_u]Bentley[/name_u] car reference aside :sweat_smile: [name_m]Brently[/name_m] with nickname [name_m]Brent[/name_m] seems to “chad” to me! But I feel with a middle it could be saved! I love [name_u]Darby[/name_u] Metallica! I get name envy! [name_f]Do[/name_f] keep us updated when shes born!

you all are too sweet (: thank you so much for sharing your opinions! normally when i hear the name [name_m]Brently[/name_m] i think of [name_m]Brently[/name_m] [name_m]Stephen[/name_m] [name_m]Smith[/name_m] ( [name_m]Brent[/name_m] [name_m]Smith[/name_m] the singer of shinedown, who has a beautiful voice too :wink:)

I prefer [name_m]Bently[/name_m] or [name_m]Brent[/name_m].
