Please post your honest opinion on the name [name]Brynlee[/name] [name]Isabella[/name]. [name]Bryn[/name] will be the nickname. Thank you!
I think it’s a very pretty combo. It’s really NMS, but I do think it’s nice as far as that style goes! I think I prefer a [name]Brinley[/name] spelling, as it looks a little more streamlined. I do like the [name]Bryn[/name] nn and think “[name]Bryn[/name]” looks better nn-wise than does [name]Brin[/name]. So I guess I’m contradicting myself as far as the spelling goes.
Which spelling variation of [name]Brynlee[/name] do you prefer? All variations are pronounced [name]Bryn[/name]-lee.
A) [name]Brynlee[/name]
B) Brynlie
C) Brynley
D) [name]Brinley[/name]
E) Brynleigh
I love the nn [name]Bryn[/name] but don’t love [name]Brynlee[/name], I think it makes the name sound a little childish. I think [name]Bryn[/name] [name]Isabella[/name] would be beautiful on it’s own. But if you love the lee on the end, my favorite spelling is [name]Brinley[/name], it just looks the most correct and least made up I guess. Good luck!
D looks the nicest I think, but I love the name [name]Bryn[/name], so I’m torn. My other choice would be [name]Brynlee[/name]. Please, please don’t use E. It’s unnecessarily long.
I think that it is quite trendy. Not a bad sound though, [name]Bryn[/name] is an awesome NN. [name]Love[/name] it as a full name too. As for spelling, I had a friend [name]Brinley[/name] growing up so to me that one looks the most natural.
Sorry but [name]Brynlee[/name] and all of its spellings are VERY trendy and I don’t see the attraction. I find it too cutesy and childish in sound and I don’t think it will age well. I prefer just [name]Brynn[/name] myself but if you’re going to choose this one, I would go with the original spelling of [name]Brinley[/name].
The only spelling I ever remotely like is Brynleigh, but it still is a bit childish! Sorry but I cannot picture a Brynleigh/[name]Brynlee[/name] as an adult. I cannot even see this name over 15 at the maximum age. I think [name]Brynn[/name] [name]Isabella[/name] would be so much nice and a lot more sophisticated
I don’t like [name]Brynlee[/name]. It’s far too trendy/cute. I can’t see a 23-year-old-university-graduate’s resume being taken seriously with a name like that.
It’s a nice sound, but it’s not one that ages well, and that’s a huge determent for me.
If you’re going to use it anyways, I prefer the [name]Brynlee[/name] spelling but [name]Brinley[/name] looks more professional. So one of those imo.
I think [name]Brinley[/name] and any of its spellings are incredibly trendy and like others have mentioned they won’t age well. [name]Brinley[/name] is the most appealing because it looks like a name but [name]Brynlee[/name], Brynleigh, Brynlie just look like words and names smushed together. I think [name]Brinley[/name] is the most obvious spelling and therefore the easiest for the child and other people around her.
[name]Brinley[/name] [name]Isabella[/name] flows nicely but I can’t help thinking it’s quite a childish combo.
With regards to just Byrnn on its own, I find it very masculine and harsh sounding. It is a fairly common Welsh boys name too!
I didn’t see this thread before commenting on your thread about nns. But I will give you my honest opinion: I love my niece and I love my sister, but I think my sister’s taste in names leaves much to be desired. My niece, Brynnley, will not be a child forever, but will always have a childish name. This is why I am advocating so strongly for her nn of B to be replaced with [name]Bea[/name]. [name]Bea[/name] comes from [name]Beatrice[/name], which is a much more respectable name.
But, I suppose as these Brynlees/Brynnleys/Brinleys grow up there will be quite a few Braydens, Brileys, and Baidens surrounding them. Maybe once society is presented with these names as actual young adults, their perception will grow up.
If you love the name and have thought long and hard about it, then go for it.
Oh, and the best part of having a sister with questionable taste in names is that I never have to worry about her stealing my good names!
I think [name]Bryn[/name] [name]Isabella[/name] would be much nicer. [name]Bryn[/name] will age much better than the ultra-trendy [name]Brynlee[/name].
I agree with the others that [name]Brinley[/name] is the most appealing spelling. I do like [name]Brinley[/name] quite a bit, even though it’s not a huge Nameberry favorite, but I agree with the others that it has a very childish and trendy feel to it, which is why I wouldn’t use it personally. I think Linley [name]Isabella[/name] would be a bit more appealing of a choice.
I’m torn over the idea of [name]Brynn[/name] [name]Isabella[/name]… On the one hand I really like it, but on the other, [name]Bryn[/name] has been a huge favorite on my boys’ list for a really long time and I hate to see it go to the girls.
Good luck!
[name]Love[/name] it!!!
