Was flipping through Southern Living today and the flower name [name_f]Camellia[/name_f] popped out at me! I think I love it especially with the option of the nickname [name_f]Milly[/name_f]! Thoughts?
I love this flower name. It has a lot of charm to it, and definitely the southern flair, but it’s also quite dignified and vintage sounding. It’s a bit more girly than [name_f]Camilla[/name_f] and [name_f]Camille[/name_f], which are two other close ones. It also has the perk of being a recognized name for a girl – much like [name_f]Violet[/name_f] or [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], though less popular.
Not so fond of the nickname [name_f]Milly[/name_f], but if you love it then it sounds like an all around winner!

You could use [name_f]Milly[/name_f] or [name_u]Cam[/name_u], [name_f]Cami[/name_f], [name_u]Mel[/name_u], [name_f]Melli[/name_f], [name_f]Mia[/name_f], [name_f]Mila[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_f]Elli[/name_f], [name_f]Mella[/name_f]
[name_f]Camellia[/name_f] used to be on my list. It’s gorgeous, rare name.
