About a decade ago, it seems like most forums were recommending using a full name with a nickname, but these days, standalone nicknames are much more prevalent! My preference for the most part is a full name still, but I don’t think you’re doing your daughter a disservice by using just Charley—tbh, just Charlie/Charley is used quite often for both boys and girls. I think it fits well with your boys, and I’m happy you found an option you identify with better! [name_f]Charley[/name_f] [name_f]Jeanne[/name_f] is lovely and works on its own perfectly.
