Thoughts on Christabel?

I’m still unsure on girls names and I’ve seen the birth announcement of [name_f]Christabel[/name_f] [name_f]Magdalene[/name_f] honestly swooned. What do you think of [name_f]Christabel[/name_f]?

[name_f]Christabel[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] would be the combination :tada:

Just because I think Christabel Rosebeth sounds odd I’m not sure why. I’ve decided to just use my surname Ramage which has given me some options middle name wise : )

Thank you

It’s not my style, but perfectly lovely. I’ve met an adult human by the name, and she wore it well. I think [name_f]Christabel[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] has a lovely romantic feel!

Thank for your feedback :white_heart:

Thank you jonquils!

I prefer [name_u]Christobel[/name_u] to get the spunky nn [name_u]Toby[/name_u]!

I like [name_f]Christabel[/name_f], but despise [name_f]Chrissy[/name_f] or [name_u]Christy[/name_u]…

Christabel [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is GORGEOUS!

Christabel is beautiful, and [name_f]Christabel[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is stunning!

Not my thing at all. I don’t like [name_m]Christ[/name_m]- names and it just seems like a name that’s trying too hard.
CER is fine, but [name_f]Christabel[/name_f] ending in -el and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] starting in [name_f]El[/name_f]- chops up the flow a bit

Christabel has elegance and flair

It’s not my style. I think it’s a bit over-the-top and feels almost forced. I’ve honestly liked your other options much better, sorry!

First it makes me think of the poem! It sounds sweet and innocent. A bit frilly. I’m not a fan of shortenings of christy or belle though.

Thank you for the feedback

I mentioned this in your poll thread, but then I had to reiterate it here: [name_f]Christabel[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is simply gorgeous.

Thank you for all the feedback! I do like [name_f]Christabel[/name_f] a lot but still not sure if it’s the one per say but I am going to add it to my ever growing list for sure. I think it’s definitely a contender. Thank you berries

I like [name_f]Christabel[/name_f], it reminds me of the famous suffragette [name_f]Christabel[/name_f] Pankhurst (daughter of [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] Pankhurst) who I think is a wonderful namesake. The combo is beautiful xx

Christabel is stunning, I love it!!! I had a penpal from the UK eons ago named [name_f]Kristabel[/name_f] and I just adored her name. I also think of [name_f]Christabel[/name_f] Pankhurst, who, as, @MargotAbeline mentioned, is a great namesake!

Christabel [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is just gorgeous

It’s not really my style, but it’s a fine name and I do think it fits your style! [name_f]Christabel[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is absolutely stunning, and [name_f]Christabel[/name_f] Ramage sounds lovely as well. I think it would be a great choice for you!

Christabel [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is gorgeous!! I prefer it to [name_f]Christabel[/name_f] Rosebeth which sounds a bit choppy due to the repeated r and b sounds. Although [name_f]Christabel[/name_f] isn’t my style and, personally, I would just use [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Christabel[/name_f] does add something special to the combination and nn [name_f]Belle[/name_f] is so pretty. I also like how you could use any of [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]’s nicknames as well.

Christabel is one of my favorites, mostly due to the poem. It’s slightly haunting and mystical. Someone in the Telegraph Birth Announcements recently had a [name_f]Willa[/name_f] [name_f]Christabel[/name_f] which is just gorgeous!!

Thank you for all you guys opinions & thoughts on [name_f]Christabel[/name_f] I do really like this name it’s definitely on my list and I love the association of [name_f]Christabel[/name_f] Pankhurst :purple_heart:

Thank you everyone!
