What do you think of [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]? I think it’s really pretty but I don’t know if it’s too old fashioned to use. I like the nickname [name_f]Cora[/name_f] but really hate [name_u]Cory[/name_u]. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think [name_u]Cory[/name_u] will be a go-to nickname that people would use?
i think cordelia is so cute !! it’s probably in my top ten. i don’t think cory is even close to being a go-to nickname. my cousin has a cordelia and she goes by coco. i think cora is probably the most common/noticed first nickname of cordelia, however, i don’t even think people would automatically use a nickname for cordelia.
[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] is so pretty!! I don’t think [name_u]Cory[/name_u] would be the instinct tbh.
The [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] I know goes by [name_f]Dee[/name_f] or [name_f]Delia[/name_f].
I think the name [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] is a little old fashioned compared to some more modern names that I usually prefer such as [name_f]Sofia[/name_f], [name_f]Emma[/name_f], or [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], but I like it if it has a nickname such as [name_u]Coco[/name_u], [name_f]Delia[/name_f] or [name_f]Dee[/name_f].
[name_f]My[/name_f] great grandmother’s maiden name was [name_m]Cornelius[/name_m], and we thought about [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] as a middle as a tribute. [name_u]Love[/name_u] it!
I really like [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]! I think [name_f]Cora[/name_f], [name_u]Cory[/name_u], della ,Delia, [name_u]Del[/name_u], would all work well for nicknames. I think people would be more likely to use [name_f]Cora[/name_f] than cory.
i like Cordelia! i actually know a girl named Cordelia who is around 15 or 16. she goes by Cordie; i’ve never heard Cora or Cory used as a nn for her
[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] is pretty, elegant and literary! [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] meaning too:) I don’t think [name_u]Cory[/name_u] is inevitable
cordelia is super cute, and i think it’s vintage and not old-fashioned. the nickname cora is gorgeous! i don’t think people would call her cory, it’s not a nickname that comes to mind immediately.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] the name! Never thought of [name_u]Cory[/name_u] or [name_f]Cora[/name_f] honestly. [name_f]My[/name_f] first nn thoughts were [name_m]Cor[/name_m] and [name_f]Delia[/name_f]
[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] is gorgeous! It reminds me of [name_u]Anne[/name_u] of [name_u]Green[/name_u] Gables. I don’t think [name_u]Cory[/name_u] would be the instinct. People will call her what you call her (so if you call her [name_f]Cora[/name_f], other people will), but instinctively, I go to [name_f]Cordy[/name_f], which is super cute. Also, [name_f]Delia[/name_f], [name_f]Dellie[/name_f], [name_f]Della[/name_f].
[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] is gorgeous, homespun and romantic definitely not too old to use she’s beautiful. I also love the meaning ‘heart; daughter of the sea’ I’m a massive lover of the sea. I don’t think [name_u]Cory[/name_u] would be a natural nickname for [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] I always thought Cordy/Delia would be more natural. However I think [name_f]Cora[/name_f] would also work & be sweet. Anyways in a nutshell [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] is beautiful
I never even thought to use [name_u]Cory[/name_u] over [name_f]Cora[/name_f]. [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] is one of my favorites but I really like older names!
