WDYT of the name [name_f]Elodie[/name_f], with potential nn “[name_f]Elle[/name_f]” ? What kind of girl do you picture with this name?
I adore this name but it seems everyone else does too. I see it mentioned often now. I think it is on track to become the next [name_f]Isla[/name_f] which is also beautiful.
I really like it! For some reason, I picture a runner. Someone sporty.
I like [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] a lot. I think of a blonde-haired girl with this name.
I like [name_f]Elodie[/name_f], but I prefer [name_f]Elodia[/name_f]. I imagine a dark haired girl that can play the piano.
I love [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]. I picture a sweet blonde girl is very artistic/musical or a dancer.
Such a wonderful name! Really pretty but isn’t overly girly or sugary, I picture a kindhearted and generous soul who enjoys outdoor activities such as horse riding.

@bluebirdjools: I’m glad you also think it’s sweet but not overly fussy. That’s the kind of vibe I ultimately hope for in my girl names.
I really like the name [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] but would be more likely to use it is as a middle name because, to me, it sounds too much like [name_u]Jodie[/name_u], which is not a favourite.
It’s not bad, but it’s not a name I’ve ever been crazy about. It always seems like [name_f]Melody[/name_f] with a letter missing.
I like E names like [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] and [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] so I think it would be beautiful on a little girl. [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] makes me think of a very musical/artistic little one, whereas [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] sounds like a very smart and strong girl.
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] makes me think of a happy, summery little girl.
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] nn [name_f]Elle[/name_f] is absolutely stunning! I wish my family liked it more. I would use it in a heartbeat.
