I love the name [name_f]Emma[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Emmy[/name_f]) and like more unusual middle names. My nana was Irish so it’d be cool to have an Irish name in there somewhere to honour her. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Aisling[/name_f] [name_m]Baker[/name_m] flows? Btw we live in the UK where there are quite a few Aislings so pronunciation shouldn’t be a problem…
Well, [name_f]Emma[/name_f] isn’t my cup of tea because its just so ubiquitous. That said, using a cute and unique middle name has the potential to atone for the popularity, but even with the Irish spelling [name_f]Aisling[/name_f] it’s still basically [name_f]Ashlyn[/name_f], which unfortunately reflects more popularity. I like the idea of a unique word name as a middle, like [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_u]Aspen[/name_u]. If you’d like a nod to the [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] [name_f]Isle[/name_f], [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Clover[/name_f] would be cute.
I love it. [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Aisling[/name_f] looks pretty and sounds pretty.
[name_m]Hi[/name_m], thanks for your input. [name_f]Emma[/name_f] is quite common, granted. But I think it’s worth noting context. [name_u]Ashley[/name_u]/[name_f]Ashling[/name_f]/[name_f]Ashlynn[/name_f] might be popular in the US, but here in [name_f]England[/name_f] it is much less so. [name_f]Aisling[/name_f] is really quite unusual here.
[name_f]Aisling[/name_f] is my favourite Irish name! Are you pronouncing it [name_u]Ash[/name_u]-ling or [name_u]Ash[/name_u]-lynn?
I’m not a fan of [name_f]Emma[/name_f] really, I think it’s pretty boring. I also think it runs into [name_f]Aisling[/name_f]. Would you consider [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Aisling[/name_f], or even [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] [name_f]Aisling[/name_f]?
I think we’d call her [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] anyway, but would prefer [name_f]Emma[/name_f] for formality. Not a fan of [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] but would consider [name_f]Emily[/name_f]! Pronounced [name_f]Ashling[/name_f]
I adore [name_f]Emma[/name_f]. I have only known a couple. I also definitely do not consider it boring. [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Aisling[/name_f] is beautiful, lively, and friendly.
[name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Aisling[/name_f] is beautiful! I really love the name [name_f]Emma[/name_f], and [name_f]Aisling[/name_f] is very unexpected and fun in the middle spot
I think it’s very pretty.
[name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Aisling[/name_f] is very sweet and fun. I like the contrast of a well-known, popular classic and a more obscure, lesser-used name. Honouring your heritage with an Irish name is a great idea. [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Aisling[/name_f] [name_m]Baker[/name_m] flows just fine.
To me it’s [name_f]Emma[/name_f] and [name_m]Baker[/name_m] that don’t sound too great since in my accent they both end with the same sound. I much prefer [name_f]Emily[/name_f] [name_f]Aisling[/name_f] [name_m]Baker[/name_m]
