Thoughts on Evergreen?

(not pregnant, just thinking)

For the last two days I’ve been absolutely smitten with Evergreen as a middle name for a boy, and I have no idea why. Perhaps because it has a similar feel to [name_m]Peregrine[/name_m]? Who knows. But I love it.

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you have any first name suggestions, and do you think it’s usable in the middle spot for a future son? (or daughter for that matter) …but I’m definitely not bold enough to use it as a first name for either gender.

I think it’d be wonderful as a middle name!

I think it would make a wonderful choice!

I agree with the above posters. Personally, I wouldn’t use it as a first name but I think it would be a great middle.

It would be a wonderful middle! I also love the song, so that’s a bonus

I think it would be super handsome as a mn for a boy, not a fan of it for a girl though. [name_u]Everett[/name_u] is similar name for a boy first name if you wanted or [name_u]Everly[/name_u] for a girl. First names with Evergreen I personally would stick with something more classic and simple, I think. I would definitely avoid nature names unless you want his name to give off a very earthy, mother nature vibe.

I love Evergreen as a middle for a girl or boy! I’ve used it in several combos myself, usually girls. I actually know a family with a boy named Ender & a girl named Evergreen. I think middle names are fair game.

I think that sounds great as a middle name, and it might even work as an unusual first, with the nn [name_u]Ever[/name_u]?

It’s a lovely name. It could work as a fn but it’s a nice surprise as a mn

I’d go with a simple 1 or 2 syllable fn that won’t take too much attention from Evergreen
[name_u]James[/name_u] Evergreen
[name_m]David[/name_m] Evergreen
[name_u]Luca[/name_u] Evergreen
[name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] Evergreen

Yes I love it for a middle name for a girl or boy. Very good!

I agree that it has a similar feel to [name_m]Peregrine[/name_m]; it’s really cool! It has an intriguing modern nature vibe.

I seem to be in the minority. I don’t like it. It just feels like a brand of grass seed.
