thoughts on Evren

Found this little Turkish gem on BTN -

Evren means “cosmos or universe”

I’m not sure about the juxtaposition of the v and the r, it feels like there should maybe be a vowel there? Other than that, it has a pretty sound to it!

Hm, I think a lot of people would think the r was a type-o.

Very pretty but may get confused w/ [name_u]Evan[/name_u] or [name_f]Erin[/name_f]

I just came across this post in my search for a boy name and I kinda love Evren! I initially came across [name_m]Ephraim[/name_m] (2nd son of [name_m]Joseph[/name_m]) which would fit perfectly, being that if we have another boy, he would be the 2nd son of his father [name_m]Joseph[/name_m]. However, I’m not a fan of the name itself. In searching further, i found a Yiddish version, [name_m]Evron[/name_m], with the same meaning. If you’re torn with the spelling of Evren, you could always try [name_m]Evron[/name_m]. If it’s for a girl, I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] the nn [name_f]Evie[/name_f]. Playing around with the spelling (within reason) is what will make your child’s name unique. I say, if you love the name Evren, spell it how you want. I don’t think there will be much confusion with it. It’s pretty straight forward :stuck_out_tongue:

I think it is a nice-ish name but it does look like there is something missing in the middle.

I love Evren and [name_m]Evret[/name_m]!!! ” They’re beautiful… ”
