No…just…no. It sounds like an incomplete form of [name]Lexi[/name], and the child would probably suffer years of being teased about it. But if you like it, go for it. I’m not gonna hold you back.
It just sounds like two letters of the alphabet to me: X and E = [name]Exie[/name]. Sorry I’m not a fan.

It reminds me of an “ex” like an ex-boyfriend or something. I don’t think it’s a good idea.
as a nickname for something, sure. on its own, it’s too truncated - too meaningless to be simply a short name.
It’s not my style, but I disagree that a kid would likely get teased for it. I think a lot of kids would think it was really cool, especially with the unusual X in there. I personally don’t think it ages well for an adult, so I agree it might make a better nickname.
I think Exene could be pretty cool. Like the singer for the punk band x.

I think it’s okay as a nickname, but it’s lacking as a name by itself. Maybe you can use [name]Alexandra[/name], [name]Alexia[/name], [name]Alexis[/name] to get [name]Exie[/name].
Her real name is [name]Christine[/name] though…
Not a fan, but adding an L to make it [name]Lexie[/name] is much more doable.
I like the sound of it, but I think I’d like to see it as a nn rather than a first name. 
[name]Love[/name] [name]Lexi[/name]…But [name]Exie[/name] no. It also reminds me of Ex boyfriends. Sexy exie will be teased I think.
