Thoughts on Fable Ophelia?

Hey berries, I’d like to get your feedback on the combo [name_u]Fable[/name_u] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]. What do you think? Is it too much?

I like [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f], not so much for [name_u]Fable[/name_u], I don’t necessarily dislike, but I don’t love it. Especially when it’s [name_u]Fable[/name_u] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f], just it sounds weird when I say it. [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] [name_u]Fable[/name_u]?

I feel the same. [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] [name_u]Fable[/name_u] is nice.

I like it. The vibe is very fairy tale, which I dig. My only real qualm is that [name_u]Fable[/name_u] sounds like an adjective to [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]. As in, the fable version of [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]. That make sense? It’s not really enough to nix it entirely, considering I have names with that effect on my own list. But it probably stands out this way because I know [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] as a literary name. Something else paired with [name_u]Fable[/name_u] may have a different feel.

I agree. Maybe [name_u]Fable[/name_u] [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] would work better.

[name_u]Fable[/name_u] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] is really pretty and lyrical but it does feel very literary, shakespearean and whimsical -if you like that vibe then it totally works! [name_u]Fable[/name_u] [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] is a more grounded or balanced option and I’d also suggest [name_u]Fable[/name_u] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], [name_u]Fable[/name_u] [name_f]Emilia[/name_f], [name_u]Fable[/name_u] [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] and [name_u]Fable[/name_u] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] if you wanted to ‘ground’ [name_u]Fable[/name_u], but otherwise I do really enjoy [name_u]Fable[/name_u] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]

It’s a little twee for my taste, but I’m not saying it’s unusable.

Thanks for the feedback!

@greyblue [name_u]Fable[/name_u] [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] is very pretty.

I love [name_u]Fable[/name_u] alot but it doesn’t go well with ophelia.

Yeah, I discarded the name and went with [name_f]Fern[/name_f] [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] instead.

Thanks for all the feedback!
