I have a 3-year-old daughter, [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] (Vivi). I was thinking of other girl names and stumbled across [name_f]Farrah[/name_f]. I’ve heard it, of course, but never thought about it until now. I like it and think it’s pretty, different and not one you hear often. BUT wouldn’t want it associated with teen mom.
I know the reference to Teen Mom, but my first association would be [name_f]Farrah[/name_f] Fawcett. That said, I do really like the sound of [name_f]Farrah[/name_f]. I think, for me, I’d prefer spelling it [name_f]Farah[/name_f]. I think it clarifies the pronunciation and detaches a bit further from those celebrities.
I love [name_f]Farrah[/name_f]! Its one that bounces on and off my list frequently. Its got such a soft sound and yet feels dramatic, unexpected and familiar all at once.
Fawcett…
[name_m]Ah[/name_m], I love [name_f]Farrah[/name_f] - cheerful, distinctive and lovely with a hint of style and magical
I love [name_f]Farrah[/name_f] - have known two, it’s such a happy-making, commanding name.
Definitely my first thought. Big hair, 80s vibes. I don’t know the other association. It has a lovely meaning!
It has a lovely sound and great meaning!
[name_u]Love[/name_u] this name!
I love [name_f]Farrah[/name_f]! It’s so warm and pretty. Fawcett is my first thought, not teen mom.
Charlie’s Angles ( the original)
Yes I love it. [name_f]Pretty[/name_f] not fussy or common . Upbeat , happy and gentle .
I can think of two different images for [name_f]Farrah[/name_f] - the first is as a classic Arabic name. The second is as a nostalgic 80s-tinged Western name inspired by [name_f]Farrah[/name_f] Fawcett.
I like [name_f]Farrah[/name_f], and immediately think of [name_f]Farrah[/name_f] Fawcett, but I wouldn’t say that’s a bad thing. She was beautiful, after all.
