I really like [name_f]Fenna[/name_f]- it was on my very long short list for a moment, but I still have a soft spot for it. I think it is very elegant and simple, a perfect sweet spot name in that it is unusual, but also has an aurally and visually similar tie with [name_f]Jenna[/name_f].
Really love this!
Also really like Finna
I like it, never heard it before.
I really like [name_f]Fenna[/name_f]! I’ve never heard of it before, but it’s very sweet, short and beautiful. I think there’s a really endearing quality about it. The meaning is also nice.
I’ve never heard it. It sounds so warm and nice. And so easy to spell and pronounce! I really like it.
I like how clean it both looks and sounds! I could also pair with an elaborate middle name too, like:
[name_f]Fenna[/name_f] [name_f]Amaryllis[/name_f]
[name_f]Fenna[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]
[name_f]Fenna[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f]
[name_f]Fenna[/name_f] [name_f]Luciana[/name_f]
I’m going to be the odd one out here, but I don’t like it. It seems whiny and incomplete, and it sounds kind of nasal to me. It makes me think of ‘meh’ and ‘feign’ and neither of those are good.
Never heard it before, but I really really like it! It’s pretty and feminine without being overly frilly. And it’s not common. I love that it has Dutch roots and the meaning is great. I think I’ll add it to my list so thanks for introducing me to this name!
I love [name_f]Fenna[/name_f]!
I would name a daughter [name_f]Fenella[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] and call her that as well as [name_f]Fenna[/name_f], [name_f]Nella[/name_f], and Fen.
Wonderful!
PS It also works alone - I just also love [name_f]Fenella[/name_f] and variety of name choices.
I think it’s beautiful.
Very similar to [name_f]Fenella[/name_f] which I also adore.
It’s cute. I want to like it but for some reason I cant. When I read it and try to say it out loud I try to say fennel instead of [name_f]Fenna[/name_f]. But I want to like it because I love [name_u]Penna[/name_u], [name_f]Jenna[/name_f], [name_f]Ena[/name_f], and [name_f]Enna[/name_f].
I am also new to the name [name_f]Fenna[/name_f]. I am not a fan of [name_f]Jenna[/name_f] and [name_u]Penna[/name_u] but [name_f]Fenna[/name_f]’s “f” gives it more attitude than those. I really like it. Also, courage is a great meaning.
[name_f]Fenna[/name_f]! She’s one of the main characters in the novel I’m currently writing. I think it’s a great name. In my story, she’s a powerful half troll sorceress, so it feels like a very strong name to me.
I shared the name with one of my friends, who works with Dutch companies, and she had not heard of the name, but thought it was “bold and feminine” at the same time!
Looking at social media sites like twitter and pinterest, it seems [name_f]Fenna[/name_f] is primarily used overseas, and not here in the U.S. too often!
