It’s pronounced [name_u]Fee[/name_u]-uh-na and said quickly. I live in [name_f]Ireland[/name_f] but it’s not very commonly used here. The [name_f]Fianna[/name_f] were warriors in Irish mythology. I like it for a girl, and have only heard it used on girls. Honest thoughts?
I like it! It’s like a new, modern spin to [name_f]Fiona[/name_f].
I like it a lot! It’s lively, sweet and strong
It’s nice but I think a lot of people might mix it up with [name_f]Fiona[/name_f]
It’s okay I guess
I really like how it looks and like how it sounds! Agree it might get a little confused with [name_f]Fiona[/name_f], but it’s still a really pretty name so I don’t think that should deter you.
I prefer [name_f]Fiona[/name_f], but I’ve never heard about [name_f]Fianna[/name_f] before.
I feel like living in [name_f]Ireland[/name_f] it’s a common enough idea, you learn [name_u]Fionn[/name_u] mac Cumhaill in school so most people would understand what it meant. And all my experiences with [name_f]Fiona[/name_f]'s in [name_f]Ireland[/name_f] were middle aged at the very least.
[name_f]Honesty[/name_f] I think there’s more of a chance of it being confused with all the baby [name_u]Fiadh[/name_u]'s who are being born now.
I really like it, it’s a pretty alternative to other more common Irish names
I do remember that there was a bratz doll called [name_f]Fianna[/name_f] so it reminds me of that but I don’t think that’s a problem!
