I am trying to decide between these combos. I am trying to use [name_f]Posie[/name_f] as a nickname as I am not sure if I am brave enough to use it as a full name. I love Sophia/Sophie and would prefer the initials S.L. for a type of honouring purposes. Though a very slight stretch, I think all if not majority of the letters for [name_f]Posie[/name_f] and the soft sound of it is all contained within Sophia/Sophie.
Which do you think is most fitting and/or would choose?
- [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] nn [name_f]Posie[/name_f]
- [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] nn [name_f]Posie[/name_f]
Thank you
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] is gorgeous and wins for me

I think [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] is most natural for nn [name_f]Posie[/name_f]

[name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] has better flow and [name_f]Sophia[/name_f], being a longer, more formal option, lends itself to the nickname.

I much prefer [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Lilia[/name_f]! So international, ethereal, elegant, could work on every age, regal yet fairy-tale esque but also dignitous and [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] gives it particularity
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] on the opposite hand feels too childish and…. Somehow bland.

[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] is such a beautiful name, it flows a lot better than [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]. Using [name_f]Posie[/name_f] as a nickname is fine, and the fact that the middle name is a flower name makes [name_f]Posie[/name_f] even more fitting.

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.
This made me smile, because my mom’s cat is named [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f].
Anyway, I love the whimsical bright [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Lilia[/name_f]. I prefer [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] to [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] anyway, & it’s a bit less over done. And although I love [name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] is even more special & sparkly. This all being said, I think that [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] nn [name_f]Posie[/name_f] makes a bit more sense than [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] nn [name_f]Posie[/name_f]. [name_m]Just[/name_m] because [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] is at least longer than [name_f]Posie[/name_f], & it’s more like a typical full name/nick-name situation ala [name_f]Annika[/name_f] nn [name_f]Annie[/name_f] or [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] nn [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] etc. Three syllables & ends in an ‘a’ & the nn is two syllables & ends in a ‘ee’.
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] my rambling helps.

With the nickname [name_f]Posie[/name_f] I would choose [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]. I feel like [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] is already a nickname, so she wouldn’t need another nickname, kind of like naming her [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] and calling her [name_f]Leah[/name_f]. It definitely could work though and wouldn’t hurt or be detrimental in any way. [name_m]Just[/name_m] given the choice I would go with [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]. (Plus I also really love [name_f]Lily[/name_f]! )
